Another change with the new LLoyds system is transfers between husband and wife Vantage accounts are no longer immediate but now always 24 hours irrespective of the size of the transfer. Another day's interest lost to the benefit of Lloyds. We were certainly not informed on this change.0

the thing thats the most difficult is that they have changed the order on the statements, now the last transaction is at the top, and not the bottom, so it feels back to front and I find very arkward to follow.
Absolutely, I'm fuming about this change. They had better add the option to re-order transactions soon or I'll be moving my main current account somewhere else, after 20 years with Lloyds.
I just can't get my head round this illogical way of showing transactions in reverse order to how they actually happened. All my life I've read from left-to-right, top-to-bottom and I'm not about to change that any time soon.0 -
Well I now have an answer from them on this one....It does seem to be slower navigating, however, my main gripe is with the new transfers and payments, I have about a dozen payees set up to various accounts in my name, with the new list it's very difficult to work out which one you're paying as they all appear the same, except for similar account numbers and sort codes, I'm pretty sure the old list used to include a reference which did give a clue as to which one your paying, annoyingly the confirmation screen does include this information!
Response from Lloyds TSB "There are now 2 pages from which you can make payments. One of those pages is as you describe where you have a drop down list showing some details of each recipient. However there is a page listing the recipient name, sort code, account number and reference. I've listed step by step how to get to this page:
-Logon to your accounts
-Click on the name of your account or the debit card beside your account (Do not click 'Make Payment')
-Across the top of the statement are 3 tabs, 'Statement', 'Payments' and 'Direct Debits & Standing Orders'
-Click on the 'Payments' tab (Not 'Make Payment')
You will then be able to see the equivalent of the previous payments page " - (list of payees with reference and an option to make a payment)
....nothing like improvements that make things more complicated

Yes, I think that shows the reference, but then when you select it from the list it doesn't show the reference at that point?
I haven't fed this back but it annoys me that you can't edit a reference, like you can with HSBC.
I do most of my payments online, like today where I paid towards my son's school holiday. It's not a regular payment so don't want a s/o, but I would like to include a running total in the ref field. The only way I can do that is to set it up as a new payee each time with all the security checks. My friend is highly amused to have Merry Christmas! on her summer birthday.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

I expect that once you get used to it, you'll realise that this is actually a far more logical and intuitive way of doing it.
When I log in to internet banking, I'm far more concerned about what's happened on my account in the past few days than what happened three months ago. So why should I have to always scroll down to the bottom of the page when it could simply be sitting there at the top.0 -

Because I have an accounts package which puts transactions in sequence below each other to compared with an online banking system which now puts newer transactions above each other: result confusion when trying to do the reconciling between the two.
The more that complain to them the more likely it is they will do something about it - or at least provide an option for the user.0 -
Scrolling down was never an issue. The transaction list barely filled one screen before it started a new statement sheet. In any case money comes into my current account before it goes out, and that's exactly what I want to see on my internet banking. Reading up from the bottom doesn't work either when there are multiple transactions on one day, you have to read past all the transactions that occurred on the same day before you find out what day it was.
I would find it equally confusing if these forums were arranged with the most recent response at the top of each thread.0 -
I got the message when I logged in last week telling me I would be on the new system from Monday (the Monday just gone) still no sign of the new online banking. Not too bothered but its poor when they say it will change on a certain date and they don't even bother to inform you that it now won't.0
