Absolutely, I'm fuming about this change. They had better add the option to re-order transactions soon or I'll be moving my main current account somewhere else, after 20 years with Lloyds.
I just can't get my head round this illogical way of showing transactions in reverse order to how they actually happened. All my life I've read from left-to-right, top-to-bottom and I'm not about to change that any time soon.
Aw get over it, life's too short - it's called progress. Certainly not important enough to make you take your acount elsewhere0 -
Shame the new site doesn't fully work with Microsoft Money ! The bank accounts are still downloadable, but the credit card account can't be downloaded to Money as it's now a different file type !!!
As for reverse order - Why are bank accounts now in reverse, but credit cards remain in the old order ?? It doesn't bother me either way which way they read but surely have them all the same !0 -

Ugh, Just logged on and I now have the new lay out - I received absolutely no forewarning about it - and it sucks if you ask me!Does anyone know the best way to provide feedback to them about the new site? I was hoping for an email link but couldn't see one anywhere.
The new site definitely feels slower. Also, I don't like the statements being ordered with the most recent transaction at the top. Interestingly, my credit card statement shows the most recent transaction at the bottom. Not exactly a consistent approach to web design.
Exactly what I thought - and I couldn't find any way to contact them.No - they actually state that email contact is not available
However -this old email still works: Internet.Banking@LloydsTSB.co.uk
Here's my issues, which have been notified to them - they say they have passed them to their developers...
1) Accounts displayed in some arbitrary order (different from what it used to be-very strange when the accounts are numbered 1,2 3, etc and are not listed in that order)
2) Huge graphic display so I need to scroll down to see all my accounts (and for what purpose??)
(1 & 2 together make doing multiple transfers between accounts [the £1000 vantage shuffle
] difficult to follow)
3) References are not visible when making a payment (references used to distinguish between external accounts in the same name, and also contain credit card numbers)
4) A bug which can display the wrong statement against an account
.....And what have we gained?????
I agree too - what on earth is the use of the pointless graphics, and the cluttered artsy style of the page now - it was clear and simple the way it was.Absolutely, I'm fuming about this change. Exactly - for anyone saying it's better to have the latest details at the top - show me any other statements where you get the latest details at the top or a forum where the latest reply is at the top of page one or even more simply - a maths equation where you start at the bottom of the page and add up to the top - we are used in both English and maths to working from the top to the bottom to work out where we are - changing it like this makes it really hard to work out whats going on.
Also with a statement starting from the oldest you scroll down to the last date you checked from and then keep working down till you finish the page.
Now you have to scroll down to where you last checked from through stuff you haven't read before - which being unfamiliar makes it more time consuming to find your place, only to have to then scroll back up to the present to make sure your statement is in order - that actually makes the process harder.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

Actually I also find it infuriating that our banks have the money to waste on pointless web design changes that their customers never wanted in the first place and that make their life harder not easier. It's like when they announced there's a recession on and your banks closed for a week for a brand spanking new refit - nice to know they have money to waste. :mad:A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Just chanced on this thread and have to say that our accounts (me,OH and DD) have not changed at all and transfers between accounts is still immediate. Is it just a matter of time?Awaiting a new sig0

The whole thing is just Sh*t
The two worst aspects are by far:
Order of transactions now reversed so newer are at the top rather than added on at the bottom.
References not available at the payments stage - just a drop down list which if you have several stored external destinations are in your name - all you get is a huge list of your name each time with a different sort/account number against: mistakes will be inevitable.
Lloyds Bank group - are you listening -Fkning fix it0 -
It just shows how well we all cope with change!

All Halifax online accounts are top down .... I'd find it odd scrolling right to the bottom of a page to see the latest transaction? Why would anyone want to do that?
But having been faced with the Lloyds change this morning ...... err, it's a bit colourful isn't it? Reminded me a bit of playing Tetris or some version of online Lego. However as long as they continue the 4% ... I think I'll cope.
Having just navigated several Halifax accounts this morning - then an Egg account - then the Lloyds one - and then onto several Hargreaves Lansdowne accounts ............. the 'standardisation' between them is stunning in it's absence! If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Cahoot accounts are top down as well - I've just jumped ship from Cahoot to Lloyds as I'm fed up with Cahoot not giving any kind of updates as to faster payments, and the new security feature of Lloyds with the pin and automated call is just ace imho.
As far as the top down goes, I think it's just a matter of getting used to it - but I think it is more logical.0 -
Not sure what the problem is. If you click on your account, click on 'Payments', all the references are shown as well as the payment details. And all this is available with exactly the same number of clicks as with the old site.ChiefGrasscutter wrote: »References not available at the payments stage - just a drop down list which if you have several stored external destinations are in your name - all you get is a huge list of your name each time with a different sort/account number against: mistakes will be inevitable.

If you use the 'quick drop-down box', then they aren't, but then that wasn't there under the old site anyway!
Er, what does 'Fkning' mean? It's a new one on me.0
