It does seem to be slower navigating, however, my main gripe is with the new transfers and payments, I have about a dozen payees set up to various accounts in my name, with the new list it's very difficult to work out which one you're paying as they all appear the same, except for similar account numbers and sort codes, I'm pretty sure the old list used to include a reference which did give a clue as to which one your paying, annoyingly the confirmation screen does include this information!

I got moved from the old site to the new one this week. I use ffox and found there's an annoying lag moving from screen to screen e.g, from the accounts list to a statement. It seems that Lloyds is using webtrends to monitor site usage patterns and the webtrends cookie was slowing down the transitions in ffox, using ad block plus to bar satse.webtrendslive.com and clickshift.com restored the speed. Unfortunately you can't just block cookies because Lloyds use three to store session information that enables the site to work.

A little more disturbingly, when I 'phoned the help line to point out this issue the helpdesk guy denied Lloyds use webtrends at all. Strange as the Scottish Widows and Lloyds insurance sites specifically mention the use of it in the privacy section of thier t&c's.

Im sure given time I will get used to the new layout, but the thing thats the most difficult is that they have changed the order on the statements, now the last transaction is at the top, and not the bottom, so it feels back to front and I find very arkward to follow.

completely agree i have been on the site several times since the update and hate it with a passion, its gone from one of the most user friendly one i have to the least

first time i went on it, almost gave me a heart attack with the reverse order, as automatically scanned to the bottom (where the newest transations used to be) and noted a £1000 withdrawl and thought someone had accessed my account fraudlently,

it was not till after a few minutes panicking did i notice the date by it and it was a genuine transactuin i had made a over month ago! and then realised they had reversed the order so new transactions were at the top!

Excellent tip. Thank you. Small typo though, I think that should be statse.webtrendslive.com. I've just blocked that site and the speed is much better. I had seen the "connecting to statse.webtrendslive.com" message in Firefox associated with a long pause but I haven't seen any messages about clickshift.com. Out of interest, how did you find out they were using that as well?

The main issue - besides the unnecessary 'jazzy' clutter and things being too big to be seen in one place any longer is how much slower page transitions seem to be compared to what was (admittedly) quite a fast system before.

    Has anyone else found this?

As to the features; it takes a while to find your way around at first, but the navigation (etc) seems acceptably straightforward to follow. (Oh, except for that extra 'message' page inserted just in front of the accounts summary screen when you first log on!)

Thanks for the tip on the webtrendswotnot. I was using FFox and it seems much quicker now.

I have four Vantage, a Classic, two Easysaver and one Credit Card account. So when viewing the page for one of my main accounts and going to 'View another account' (top right) I now get a very 'helpful' drop-down which reads:

    'Classic Vantage'
    'Classic Vantage'
    'Classic Vantage'
    'Easy Saver'
    'Easy Saver'
    'Advance Credit Card'

    (Hmm!)

Sorry about the typo, I cleared out my cookies in ffox, went back to Lloyds online, rechecked for cookies and there were five, three with lloyds somewhere in the title and two without. Googling them they both came back to webtrends.

On the main accounts page, they have now started putting annoying adverts in between each of my account on the list, what with that and the large images at the side of each account, I now have to scroll down quite a way! Before I could see them all at the same time on the screen!

Still cant get to grips with the reverse order...I hate it!

When doing maths, and you add and subtract, the answer is always at the bottom, why change the principle!

Try doing a couple of sums upside down and see how 'logical' it feels!

Having said that, I didnt get on with the new style MSE forum either, but at least there is an option of changing the settings and viewing it in the original format, which I have done....I only wish we had that option with LLoyds!!:(

To send a complaint to Lloyds TSB use this address:-

    Customer Service Recovery
    Brindleyplace Service Centre
    Lloyds Banking Group
    Two Brindleyplace
    BIRMINGHAM
    B1 2AB

The more letters they get from dissatisfied customers the more likely that they will do something about the new web site.
No reliance should be placed on the above.

Anyone got some screenshots (with personal details blanked out of course) of the new look online banking? I closed all my Lloyds TSB accounts but I'm interested to see this thing which seems to be making so many people so angry :rotfl:
