A & L migration to Santander

Just logged in and I have been switched too, although after reading the inital screen it still looks very much still like the A&L site at the moment. No dates in DD's apart from one that went today, different sort code. Will try faster payment now but not confident. Site seems a bit slower too but should not complain-some people have had it much worse I know.Total Debt Oct 2008 [STRIKE]£12, 900[/STRIKE] Oct 09 [STRIKE]£12,232[/STRIKE] March 2010 [STRIKE]£11576[/STRIKE]July 2010[STRIKE] £11082[/STRIKE] MAY 2011 £9426

HOWEVER...have just logged in to my account to find "Balance unavailable".
(shakes head in frustrated disbelief....again).
My balances show the same this morning but clicking the account for the statment showed everything as normal.
Will be closing my premier account as soon as the 6% is finished though, as it's a bit of a joke really. In Progress!!!0 -
Just tried to log in again, got this;
Due to planned maintenance Alliance & Leicester Internet Banking is currently unavailable.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Tried again and got in, made a faster payment which hasnt got there so I guess the first one to each payee is a 3-4 day job. One thing I have noticed though is it looks like Santander updates in real time as the faster payment is there on my statement already.Total Debt Oct 2008 [STRIKE]£12, 900[/STRIKE] Oct 09 [STRIKE]£12,232[/STRIKE] March 2010 [STRIKE]£11576[/STRIKE]July 2010[STRIKE] £11082[/STRIKE] MAY 2011 £9426

I logged in to find all my pending payments had been deleted. These were from my savings account to my current account to cover bill payments leaving my current account. It was lucky I spotted it, when I spoke to telephone banking, they said they were deleted over the weekend. Why?
Lucky I wasn't on holiday, or I'd be incurring charges for missed payments!0 -

I'm ready for a battle lol.Remember this: nothing worth doing is easy.0

Mine's STILL not working! It's been a week now!!
Just phoned them again...and they have "NO IDEA" when it will be resolved...
I got the lady on the phone to run through ALL my transactions for the last week....and all my standings orders.
Good thing is..my salary went through and the standing orders i had set up for last week and today has gone out...
So that makes me a "tiny bit" more relaxed about it....Still closing this bank account though!!0 -
What a farce. I can't access my balance via phone banking. None of the transactions I made over the weekend have been taken from my available balance. My sort code has changed and my salary is due in on Thursday. Spent 10 minutes holding the line to speak to someone for clarification but no response. That's it, I'm changing bank accounts given the diabolical standard of service.0

I just spoke to the internet banking help desk about my mother's account details showing as n/a and actually spoke to someonr that listened! Only on hold for 15 minutes! He could not pull up the details either and it seems that the transfer has only 'partially' happened and the details have now been passed to the team sorting out the problems. He reckoned that it should be sorted out by the end on the week. I got the distinct impression that the IT front line guys are really under pressure.

Logged on today to the message 'your account has been successfully migrated'. Yesterday it was under maintenance and on Saturday working. So no real problems then
Only oddity I can see is that the last date paid and amount paid in the direct debit list are now all blank apart from one paid today. Plus some long obsolete ones have been resurrected.0
