Hi Wendy, how was the weekend? Today is the start of a new week so what have you got planned??0

hi wendy.
my husband left me on thursday and i know how you are feeling, i feel a physical pain, like someone sitting on my chest
we have 2 tots ages 3 and 4 and i hav a teenage boy from previous marriage.
it has taken a couple days to read thru all the posts on here and to be honest i was selfishly expecting to see you totally over it all by now (which would give me hope and courage).
at least i can see sometimes it does take a while to go through the grief stages...
i dont think my hubby went off to be with someone else, but i suspect he has got close to his friend's daughter over the past few days. it hurts nomatter how hard i try to not think about it.
there hasnt been any form of equalness in our marriage for some time, i felt like he just wanted me as a slave.
my heart is breaking thinking of the ickle ones...
very unlike me - i did realise begging him was no good whatsover and have therefore had no contact except brief replies to his business-like texts. in the past i have been not much short of a crazed stalker
life goes on - we will all be brave together xxxx

Hugs to sunflower and denton.
I think in the heart of all this pain, it's good to try and find something, even if small, to smile about. So here is a video about a real man, a pilot shot and then landing his helicopter. There are real heroes out there:

Hi denton
Long time lurker here!
I don't know your financial situation but if you only work 16 hours I assume you receive child tax credits.
If you do you should be able to claim up to 80% of childcare costs with your Tax Credits.
Do you have any local childminders who will take children early in the morning? If you do maybe she could do the week days freeing up your parents to do weekends when needed as obviously they are not as sprightly as they were.
