But this is her own personal chat thread; she started it and if she wants to continue on here then she has every right. She may not feel ready yet to join other threads and she is getting lots of support on here and posting when she feels able.....some people just need to take things more slowly in their recovery and aren't ready immediately to jump all over the board.

Hope the tablets help level things out for you for a bit. What's a positive thing to end the day with that you can report to us?

No - don't move off the site - the person who was so critical lives all her life in the MoneySavers Arms ...don't see why she felt the need to come here and knock you off your perch! Stay until you're ready to move on!

You have not annoyed/upset some people...........they just have their own opinions. DO NOT move off the site as you put it - it has done you good posting on here.

I was 'dumped' by my OH recently.........well in July..........3 months ago, but it still feels recent to me.............know I need to move on/get over it/forget about him BUT I still have that awful painful lump in my throat and feel sick all the time, just feel totally down and a second away from tears, can't sleep etc etc
I know what I need to do ie. move on/get over it/forget about him but it's not that easy..........but I know I will.
I have found this forum has helped me no end.

I really wish you lots of strength to cope with it all and hope that you do feel better.

dont really have a positive today cos its been a tough day with having to get our cat put to sleep. maybe a slight positive was that ex came with me and we both cried so much, she was with us 20 years so a very old lady.but the slight postive was we were both that upset we didnt argue we talked calmly and little ones have gone to sleep tonight without tears. last night they were so upset about sooty that they were very unsettled and took ages to get to sleep. i will try very hard to post a positive in future.

I am one of those who has followed your thread from the start and check daily to see how you are doing and hoping things are getting a littler easier.
I went through a difficult split a while ago, so know how hard it is trying to function day to day especially with children and trying to put brave face on for them when feel everything is falling apart and having to deal with constant reminders .
You have had so much to deal with in such a short space of time , i think you are doing so well, although you probably dont see this at moment. Love the idea of listing daily positives .
I for one need to say a big thankyou to you .Reading your thread has really helped me realise how far i have moved on and how much stronger i am now. Take care and keep posting there are some really caring and supportive people on here.

Wendy, you are doing so well and it is totally acceptable that there will be days when you don't feel so good but you are getting stronger every day. Don't leave the board; continue to post on this thread when you want to; we are all here for you and all the others on this thread who are going through similar problems.

This kind of thing does not have a time limit - so what if it has been three months, that is nothing compared to 20 years and it takes time to get over such an upset in your life but you will get over it slowly and surely and we're here to help.
