friday positives: arranged to a see a friend next week for a catch as i haven't seen her for months, sun shined and i got into a good book.

wendy that's good to hear.

perhaps get a diary / calender out and start pencilling in a social engagement or two each week so you've always got a future point to look forward to. try to make a mix of friends you know so well you know it doesn't matter if you cry on their shoulder all night and those you feel you have to make more of an effort around.

start planning for christmas and new year. think of ways you've had to compromise these days in the past and how you can make them ones to remember. dare to be unconventional and different. maybe you don't want the same meal you do every year at christmas. maybe you want to be somewhere you've never been for new year - and you can actually enjoy your ex having the boys that day so you can do it. dare to really live your life mistakes and all.

I have some washing on the line as it's sunny here, I love the smell of outside dried clothes.

I have been paid for my second job so I can make an over payment on the mortgage. :j

I slept all the way through last night, which is rare as I often wake up at least once.:D

My positives so far today are:

Cooked gammon in the slow cooker overnight and it came out really lovely

Had an unexpectedly good night at work (self employed) - on target for making enough money this week to pay the bills plus a bit for the rainy day fund

Got a freeby plug thingy in the post today - Freebies are always welcome

my positives for today..... i have had a morning at work and have managed not to cry, saw ex this morning when he got the boys and dropped them back for me and i was pleasent to him, {funny that he wont look at me and hardly said a word] guilt,
7 year old is going to a birthday party so he gets to have fun and me and 9 year old are going to make soup, he made it at cookery club the other dayso we get one to one time together.
have made a new friend from here , shame it is because we are both going through the same thing but have contacted each other by text. wow i can do this cant i. x

Another positive for me, I know it makes 4 today but i'm so pleased about this one.

I've finished my marking. And it's finished early, not last minute!
