No its not as the advice has changed, the reason why ask people to post in a new thread is to stop confusing advice being given

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Thank you for the sarcasm, do you want current advice or not? You won't get it from me!

Just shows how wrong you are .... In your case, I was going to advise that you pay them.

Haha I wouldn't take that advice from Anyone, the signage is Inadequate which is why people don't see it and end up with these threatening letters, why would I pay them? If this is the help and advice you are giving people perhaps the moderators need to ask you to stop giving advice!!

We don't tell people to 'always ignore' any more, there's another choice. The law changed since this old rambling thread was started.

But you seem determined to stay on this ancient old thread from the archives? Your choice - but this isn't the place to advise you (if you need advice).

Here's the current forum if you decide to have a read of current threads and start your own thread after all:

The reason on this forum that we ask for new threads is because we are here to help each individual person and each case (dates and details) is different. Needs an individual appeal - if you choose that option - POPLA - which is explained on the current forum...

On any parking forum you will find a new thread is needed as it's not just about continuous discussion. It's about helping every poster case by case.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Have received a parking charge notice even though I purchased a ticket and displayed this on the dash. Their tickets are'nt adhesive. I was gobsmacked. No photographic evidence provided other than a photo showing the car entering and exiting within the paid for parking time. I'm furious. I am very careful to always check that the ticket is clearly displayed as I once had a parking ticket fall from the windscreen onto the floor of the car in a local authority car park and was issued with a penalty notice which was left on the car. No notice was left on the car so this is like a bolt out of the blue. Does anyone know what the current situation is regarding ignoring the notice?:mad::mad:
