I am very happy to of seen this page as I got myself one of the scam parking notice yesterday.... Was not happy at the £60 charge it was asking for as I have just lost my job.... On reading the ticket I started to think it was not right it would be like me putting a charge on a car parked on the road outside my house I don't own the road but I park my car in that spot a lot.... So maybe I can start to charge for that space and make my own scam up was just wondering how much I can charge.... Any ideas ? Anyway back to my charge I didn't get a ticket from the pay point my fault and had the council stuck the note on I'd of not even looked on the Internet about it and just paid the £30 as I was in the wrong for not getting a ticket as I was busy looking after my 5year old who was and still is sick.... But again would be my fault for not getting the ticket... But I am not paying £60 or the £100 when the ticket would of been at most £2 I don't have £60 spare I don't have £30 spare that the council charge....just hope it's still the same law now... If not I am willing to go into court and say look I don't have £60 I can give you £5 that will cover the time I parked in the space.0

I think you have got the general idea, Blade. This is a made-up fake ticket and all you need do is to completely ignore it, and their pathetic lying attempts to frighten you into paying which may follow.
What bunch of dorks issued this one?0 -
It was excel parking services I will post when I get anything from them in the post.... Just to see how long it takes for them to give up and how much paper is wasted to get nothing from me.0

That's the spirit. Don't warn them off, because you can laugh at the money they are wasting sending you trash letters which you will take no notice of. Losers!0

You don't need to tell us, we know what letters you will get and so will you when you read the top thread.
See my signature, the whole forum view is just one click away and you just need to read 'PPC letters & threats' at the top. There's also a must-see Watchdog clip on that thread as well.
And Watchdog are covering this scam again tonight we think, from the angle of why the DVLA actually sells millions of registered keeper details to these scammers every year.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all,
My wife got a PCN last week, even though she had a ticket. She thinks that it blew upside down on the dash as she shut the door, so we sent an email to challenge, along with a scan of the PCN and actual ticket she had bought and kept hold of.
We got what seems like a standard letter back today saying thanks for the challenge, but pay up - £100 or £60 if within 7 days. They even talk about the enclosed photographic evidence, but there is no photo at all with the letter?!
Am assuming reading all on here that we should simply ignore the letter and any subsequent ones?
Any advice appreciated!0 -
Yes, just ignore. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
-
This may seem like surprising advice James- but just ignore! You have already contacted them once more often than you needed to, and discovered that their appeal system is more bent than a boomerang.
You can prove you paid, put their toilet paper in a drawer, and get on with your lives without any more grief from these scammers. If they threaten you too much just sue them. Probably worth £500 +.0 -
its a scam, fake ticket, not real, bent,a fiddle, a con,,so totally 100% ignore these scumbags known as excell, nothing can/will happen to you as a result of a fake ticket.0
