Received my cashback today.
I ended up getting two at the same time, one due 11 March, the other wasn't due until the middle of August.
Like everyone else I've had to prod & poke mercilessly. The reason I got paid, I think, is that I found someone *very* high up to bother.
It's clear to me that they're paying people in order of how much hassle they generate and not according to entitlement. The very fact that they can send out Argos vouchers immediately tells you it's nothing to do with resource, ask yourself how much longer it actaully takes to raise a payment instead of sending out vouchers..
I'll never deal with them again and I'd encourage everyone else to go elsewhere too, they really really don't care.
Who does care??? All these companies seem the same, only some less dishonest than others!!!!!!!!!

Both my friend and I are having massive difficulty in getting paid our cashbacks. My current claim is now 55 days overdue, yes that means my claim was received and processed by mobileshop a whopping 115 days ago.
We have both tried calling them, but as everyone here is aware they won't deal with your complaint they simply tell you to email the cashback department. They in turn either send an automated response about the nonsense technical problems or just ignore your email threatening court action entirely.
I've sent off a final email today, if they don't respond satisfactorily we'll both file a claim under the small claims court.0 -
I recently had major problems obtaining cashback from Mobileshop. Try this, it worked for me:
Go to live chat on their website and say that you have prepared your legal claim and this is their last chance to honour the cashback immediately or you will go ahead and submit the claim.
I was put through to someone in authority via live chat and received my cashback a few days later.

I filled out the online form last week and got written confirmation by Friday that the claim was issued on July 19 and deemed to be served on July 24. Cheque arrived today, 25th! I claimed the £75 I was owed plus £25 for my costs plus £30 court cost and was PAID IN FULL.
I highly recommend this approach but if you don't fancy legal proceedings, I received a letter from Juliette Yeardley ACCA who is Financial Controller so you might want to write or try to speak to her directly.

Good to know they are still able to pay up (ie. they have the funds to pay), and don't want any CCJs against their name.
If they have not stuck to the repayment terms, then legal action should be a claim for the total amount of the cashback due under the original contract (plus the court costs, etc), and not just the claim that they have been late paying.0 -
My hubby has just received an email today saying he will be paid this Friday - earlier than expected.
