i am v compulsive so last night sent them an email (before reading #146):
"Thankyou for your automated/standard response.
After taking advice from my solicitor I shall be contacting Trading Standards and also commencing Small Claims Court proceedings against you.
You have 7 days to confirm receipt and forward my overdue cheque for: £105."
Not sure it will do any good though. It has put me right off having another cashback mobile. As it stands I will at least have had a free phone but have had to pay 26.25 a month for the privilege. When contract up for renewal i will be going back to pay as you go.are you sitting comfortably?, then I'll begin.....

Best of luck fifi, I'm in the same boat. I will wait until Monday before sending a similar email/letter. You can chase the cashback online and recover the costs at https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco/guidelines_who_can.jsp

They've just had a message through their website and a copy by email from me giving them a week before I go to court.
Maybe that will fix the technical issues they have been having....:rolleyes2Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
YES ! after a year of doing ok, slow to pay but did work eventually, I took a second cashback deal and can't get anything from them AND can't get to talk to anyone at cash back. VERY concerned. BEWARE OF MOBILESHOP !

I would appreciate feed back from anyone who has instigated a claim against Mobileshop through - https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco/guidelines_who_can.jsp
Is it a straightforward procedure?0 -
My final cash back payment is now long overdue (see post # 154).
Today, I have received the following email:
**This is an automatically generated e-mail. Please do not reply to this message as the mail box does not receive incoming e-mail**
We are pleased to advise you that your claim for Cashback voucher xxxx at a value of £90.00 has been processed for payment.
The payment will be made via Bank Transfer - which will be processed on Friday of this week. The payment may take a further 3 to 7 days to clear and be visible in your bank account.
I now wait with baited breath!
Whether my long email I sent them last night has anything to do with it, I just don’t know . . .0 -
I sent them email to say that they had forgotton one of my cashback and low and behold 7 days later I receive the funds into my bank account. I think there just very slow. I don;t know if they are just doing deliberatly or one way of not paying up and missing a few payments??
Who knows??Nice to save.0 -
After not accepting my recorded delivery letter with final voucher I have now had an auto email saying they cannot process my claim! I have written again but would be interested to know how anybody gets on through the small claims court which seems to be my next action.
