  • Seems a post I made has vanished.

Is it the norm to remove members posts?

    :(
  • Have just signed up (online) for my wife to have a giffgaff number, well impressed - took 5 mins - and because I had a referral I had an extra £5 credit on the simcard when we topped up. Runs on O2 network and they have super deals, im porting my T Mobile over and for a £10 goodybag a month will get free texts, free internet and 150 mins - normal credit is 8p min calls and 4p texts.
    Hope this helps.

If it trangresses site rules, yes. Several folk have had posts in this thread deleted because they were were soliciting/offering the giff gaff £5 referral credits which ain't allowed on this board.

Do giffgaff have 3G internet? I heard that a catch on the "unlimited" internet is that it's GPRS only, is that true?

False... is 3G! My number got transfered yesterday without issue. Great service so far!

If you do not send many texts, the £5 labs goodybag is amazing value until 1st December!

Thanks :) Moving to them when I get out of my contract in a few weeks then.

Until the free internet expires I plan to get the £5 unlimited texts one, but with a £10 topup - that would give me unlimited texts & net for the £5, and leave the £5 credit, enabling me to dropcall people at uni? :p

  • Is there anywhere on the GiffGaff site I can see how much data/texts/calls I'm using??

I currently have a GiffGaff sim in my iPhone 4 and has been great but have been offered a deal with Virgin for 500 mins, 3000 texts and "unlimited data" (1GB) for £11 per month - need to see how I have been using my unlimited GiffGaff sim to see which works out better value for me...
