You've clearly been very lucky. Porting my number meant people couldn't call it for more than 24 hours, but otherwise everything has been fine.0 -

It was more hassle getting the number from T-mobile than it porting over!
I joined when the 1/2 price offer was on so I have 100 mins of calls and unlimited texts for £5 in Sept & Oct.
Are you happy with the service though?0 -

If you top up with £10 you get unlimited texts and calls between other giffgaff users, ideal for the family
Isn't the Tesco data an offer for 3mths?0 -

I don't know anybody on giffgaff and if I want to call somebody I will justcall them, gone are the days of tailoring calls to the recipient's network.0 -
We moved over from O2 to Giffgaff the other week, no problems transferring over at all. Mainly chose giffgaff because it meant we didn't have to farf about getting the phones unlocked, O2 phones work fine with giffgaff cos they're part of O2 anyway.
We mainly use our phones for texting & internet on the move, not for calls. So the goodybags on offer suit us fine. But like others say it depends how you use your own phone. And we're saving quite a bit compared to O2 for what we're getting ... so we're well chuffed.I no longer contribute to the Benefits & Tax Credits forum.0 -
