There are also new Goodybags getting launched on 6th Sept. These include:
A new 20 pound goodybag=600mins/unlimited texts/unlimited mobile internet.
An improved 10 pound goodybag= now 150mins(instead of 100!)/unlimited texts/unlimited mobile internet.
The 35 pound goodybag is being reduced to 30 pounds=unlimited any network calls/unlimited texts/unlimited mobile internet.
You can still buy half price goodybags until 5th Sept.0 -

You'll first of all pay £5 and can then top up normally, but what the initial £5 does is reduces text messages to 1p per text, and phone calls to 2p a minute for the month.
does the £5 goodbag come with any internet allowance?0 -

My free web and wifi on O2 ran on out at the start of this month too, and that's the reason I joined giffgaff. Even if you didn't change your tariff to stay on unlimited internet, you'll probably find they'll change it automatically as when I read their terms and conditions it says that they reserve the right to do so.
Personally I just feel giffgaff is the best operator all round, especially if you can get the people you speak to the most on it too.
No, if I top up I get mins and text for a month or until they are used up; after that I start using the £15 until it's used up (it's PAYG with free mins and text if top up £15). But I'm getting charged £10 per month for free mobile data and wifi, so they deduct £10 of credit which therefore leave me with £5 of credit left each month if I top up the £15.0 -

I have just had my first goodybag expire and I see that my unused minutes from the last one have been carried forward. Looking on their support forum, it seems that they don't intend for this to happen, but there is a glitch in their system that doesn't prevent it. So if you buy a goodybag that is bigger than the one you need, you can roll the call minutes forward so getting cheaper (per minute) calls in the next month.
Not sure if it also works for texts/internet, I'd guess not.0 -
Unfortunately their systems are having problems right now, and porting in cannot be done at the moment.Stompa0

I've been with Giffgaff for a few weeks now and from the start everything has been spot on. The Company is internet based but this has not been a problem - in fact, its been less hassle than using one of the large networks call centres / shops.
Registered with no issues
Topped up with no issues
Ported old number with no issues
No issues with calls, texts and internet
They offer bundles aka 'goodybags' (each lasting for one month from purchase) and the latest offers are:
£5 – unlimited UK texts
£10 – 150 UK minutes, unlimited texts and data browsing
£15 – 300 UK minutes, unlimited texts and data browsing
£20 – 600 UK minutes, unlimited texts and data browsing
£30 – unlimited UK minutes, unlimited texts and data browsing
In Sept they're doing a £5 'lab' offer.
Just google giffgaff
Please post back any comments you have if you are / have used this Company. I will if the service falters.
regards
