I just read on BBC News that an analyst believes that 3% of the O2 customer base use 36% of their data capacity.

    That's amazing stats! 36% by 3% !!!!!!!!

Charging for picture messages is the big shock. Was always going to go with O2 when I get my new iPhone, but may have to see what the others do now

i didnt know that had changed either as someone below you said i always liked the fact o2 included that in their bundles

I'm really glad that most of the major networks are going to be selling the iPhone 4 but I can't decide on which one to go for. I'm currently with Vodafone and their signal in my area is pretty poor at times, calls sometimes cut off and I have said all along I want to go back to O2. Now seeing their new monthly tariffs I'm not so sure. There's no way I'd go to T-Mobile. I've heard so many bad things about Three. I don't fancy staying with Vodafone so that leaves Orange and O2.

    Aaaah the choices!

No, download only. (As far as I am aware).

So is there an upload limit? Like if you want to upload pictures to Facebook or Twitter?

    Cheers
  • Anyone got any views on this:

Unlimited data on all smartphone tariffs is a promotion until 1 October 2010. Excessive usage policy and terms apply, see o2.co.uk.

It's showing at the bottom of the new iPhone 4 tariff page.
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.

Just means any new contracts or upgrades from 24th will get unlimited data until October 1st when the caps come into play.

This, I took out the Simplicity 12 month £15 contract in april and boy am I happy I did now. Think I'll be looking to sell my 3GS and buy (again) on PAYG.
