If I have a normal o2 simplicity contract, I wonder if that'd work ok in a PAYG iphone or if you'd NEED to have the simplicity iphone deal :x hmmm

my loooooonnnnggggg 18 month contract with Orange comes to an end on the 24th June. Can't wait to see what iphone 4 deals the networks will offer. I have no affinity to Orange, they've treated me poorly in the past.
Can't wait now....come on networks - show us the money...!0 -

How is this possible, Orange only got the iPhone the later part of last year? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yes you would. These only apply to new contracts or upgrades from the 24th.
Remember the old simplicity for iphone tariff is still available until the 24th so O2 is a much better deal than vodafones exisiting tariff (are voda they gonna update theirs in line with O2?)
My suggestion to anyone that can afford it is to sell your current phone, go to simplicity for iPhone and buy the phone outright on PAYG, you'll get a much better deal in the long run + in 11 months time sell your iPhone 4 for a great price ready for the next generationHardcore moneysaver0 -

That's cos I don't currently have an iphone. I have a very reliable, sturdy (boring) Sony Ericcson w980. Can't wait to move into the 21st century! :rotfl:0 -
I just read on BBC News that an analyst believes that 3% of the O2 customer base use 36% of their data capacity.
