How long till it's out in the UK though? America will most likely get it first, and then the inevitable stock shortages!

Not if it follows the flop that is the iPad Plenty in stock round here.

Will be interesting to see what Apple come up with to keep up with Android. A much higher res screen definitely sounds cool, and if the latest version of the iPhone OS can sort out the lack of multitasking then they might have something.

However... this is Apple. They'll probably gimp the good bits and make you pay through the teeth for them. And you'll still have to live with iTunes and being treated like a (rich) child.

Well the 3G and 3GS was released here (England) at the same time it was in the USA as we are what Apple classes as one of the "special" 6 european countries.

Not a chance lmao! Will be the usual United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom on the same release day. Other Countries about a month after

+ rumour for release is shortly after WWDC. My prediction......Friday 18th June

I'm hoping mid to late June. Can't wait for it. I said I would never buy an iPhone, but I've changed my mind and will be buying one.

Haha love it! U just know Apple aint gonna hang onto this to themselves for long, the EVO 4G is prehaps the most serious threat to the iPhone yet and it's out on June 4th (US only handset) so they gotta get this beast out damn quick.

Let's just recap on some of the iPhone '4' rumour spec list..

• 960 x 640 resolution screen (highest of any mobile device)
• 'IPS' LCD screen
• Forward facing camera
• 5 Megapixel main camera with LED flash
• Higher capacity battery!
• Noise cancelling microphone
• Microsim slot
• NEW DESIGN

Remember how '3' years ago tried to get video calling a standard? They failed. You know how apple just make things that work.....well could this be the start of the video calling generation? Obviously the network could hamper its success but seeing as O2 are including video mins from your inclusive allowance we could see the future :beer:

Yes and the iphone 3gs will get new os to!

They have booked their usual venue for product launches for June 22 and 23. So probably will be on those days.
