That's probably the point. Unlimited only benefits a few so it won't cost O2 that much. I think the main reason for O2 changed this was to bring it into line with other networks who all had unlimited text offerings when they launched their iPhone tariffs.0 -

The article on the main MSE site suggests Tesco for iPhones, might be worth checking out what they can offer you on the new handset?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
iPhone 3GS 32GB reduced in price on PAYG
Was £549 now £499 http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/shop_iphone/family/iphone?mco=OTY2ODA2OQ
Think this indicates that the price of the 32GB iPhone 4 will be no lower than £499. I suspect that it will probably the original 32GB 3GS price of £549. Let's hope it's no higher! Eek!0 -
Here we have 3 data packages 500mb, 2gb and 20gb these cost £5, £10 and £20 repectively in addition to the minutes/text plan you select which are also quite reasonable, I started with a 20gb but found after a couple of months of reasonable use I wasn't even doing 2gb so I changed down to that and 19 months on have yet to exceed that, in fact most months I go just over 1gb and I am not a light user. You may also find like here you can have either a bolt on to give you extra or you can set your DD up so if you go over it automatically buys you an extra amount.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! So what kind of things do you do on the internet, and how much? So we can get an idea of how much 1GB gets you.

The data cap has really put me off upgrading. I'll stick with my 3GS for now.
My data charges when abroad are always much more than I expect them to be. Having the hassle of keeping tabs on it all the time is not my cup of tea.
I'll see how the land lies when the next model is out.
Very nice of them to tell us it includes unlimited wifi. I hate it when they try and muddy the waters like that :-(
Hmm, when Spotify goes multitasking, I am blowing that cap out of the water. Not great, such a backwards step. Then how about my Sky Sports and Eurosport apps ... they aren't going to be help me with a data limit. Not often I watch an entire football match due to the iPhone battery life, but has happened.
Wondering if I can keep my contract and buy PAYG? Different SIM though.
Actually, to be brutally honest, staying with O2 is my worst nightmare. Can any of the others offer to buy my contract early please?!0 -
I see those plans on the O2 site. Do they include the phone as free? Can't see any handset cost.0

It would be amazing if O2 were giving the phones free, but it's not going to happen!0
