Where's our free cases then :p

I guess we will have to wait for "USA" to wakey wake!

I was following the apple conference live on-line, when I heard about the free bumpers thing I thought ' S0d it, I'll order one now before they all go and just claim the money back" and hit the apple site and ordered a white one.

Got through confirmation saying I should receive one in three weeks, an invoice etc showing costs of 28 pounds etc etc

However my card has not been billed, nor is it showing in my transactions not cleared (it has been three working days + 2 weekend days since the order).

Apple website still shows delivery as Aug 11th and cost as £28 odd quid

Hopefully apple will be sending me one free of charge now and have just not charged me but I'm not sure whether or not I am getting one now...

Yeah I debated on whether to order one or not.

I read somewhere too, that Apple won't have enough to go around and will offer "Cheaper" 3rd party cases? Don't know how true that is.

That was my fear, no company can produce 3 million cases in less than a month.

I'd rather have the apple bumper than another alternative

Yeah.....supply is matching demand that much !!!...that they are still going for nearly a GRAND on Ebay.....

I have been monitoring the stuation for weeks now. I do have an iphone 4, but the demand was high to start with on Ebay..price £900- £1000+ then it evened off early to mid July around £750-£850 mark (32GB Version)

Now the last week...prices rocketing on Ebay to High £900's to Over £1000 again.

That tells me all I need to know about Stock....supply and demand !

No Stock.....BUT still very high demand !

There are some right mugs on ebay.

Just checked on line and of the 10 o2 stores listed locally, 5 have them in stock, so they are there to be had for a lot less than some people are paying on ebay.

Except you can only buy them with an 18 or 24 month contract with O2, they're not even selling them handset only to existing customers, let alone new ones, so if you don't want to be tied with O2 for that long then it's not an option to buy from them.
