Apple, according to their press con vid, are offering a 30 day return policy...

It's worth noting that this isn't some incredible act of benevolence by Steve Jobs. The 30-day return period was introduced at the beginning of this month as standard for AT&T customers.

30 day return for AT&T customers!! Fantastic!!! That's a really useful thing for UK residents!!
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.

Indeed. And with Orange seemingly not having made any comment, O2 stalling and Vodafone saying they will only abide by their normal returns policy, it seems that a very large can of worms has been opened up. You would think that somewhere there'd be a definitive statement on what the rights of UK customers (and all other non-US users) are. Given the numbers affected in ths country, you'd think that someone like the DTI would get involved. Personally, I won't be holding my breath waiting for that to happen, though.

Lovin' those invisible shields. Very smart. I think I'll probably end up getting one of those rather than a full case, that is when I can actually get my hands on an iPhone 4. Tesco still out of stock!

No doubt that'll be very close to the end of the business day tomorrow. Assuming that O2 decide to honour the 30-day return policy then it'll still only give customers who received their iPhone for the 24th of June launch two days to return the device. It also raises the question of what happens with people who received their iPhone 4 on the 23rd, as happened with a couple of people I know? Will they only have until close of business on Thursday to return it?

they can't do that as it should be so many days after the announcement even if its a week it gives people the time to sort out what they want to do.

Got my new iphone4 on friday and love it!

One problem though.......I cannot connect it to any wi-fi networks that require a password. Have tried to connect to my SKY broadband at home and just get an error message saying 'unable to join'
have tried it on my mums talk talk too and get the same message. Anyone have any ideas?

I've never had a smartphone before and so don;t really understand the difference between wi-fi and data, other than knowing wi-fi is free.

    Anyone help please?

I haven`t had a problem at all. You just need to put in the network password making sure you use upper and lower case as indicated. It will also save it so you don`t have to keep doing it when you go from house to house!
