Hello went in to 02 yesterday and was told we can upgrade as of 23 July so not long at all. Girl said could have a normal Iphone for nothing but tariff would go up from £27 per month to £35 (its actually a £45 tariff reduced to £27 as part of upgrade deal last time). If I want Iphone 4 its £35 per month 600 mins unlimited text and wireless etc but the phone is £119. I've got an 8GB Ipod Touch so thought I would sell that as I don't need it and have been offered £75 for it so the Iphone 4 will only cost me £44 in real cash. Anyone think this is a bad idea or got any other suggestions I would be very very grateful. I dont want to do anything too hasty. Ive had a blackberry pearl for 18 months (nearly) and I hate the sodding thing!

I don't care who makes a phone, if the above was the case it would be useless.

I have not found one situation where I haven't been able to make a call in a week, when you use one day to day I think you'll find the same. Don't just read something and assume its the same for everyone lol

Ah yes, but if they have both broken the rules shouldn't you report them both. It comes across as you siding with one of them which most peple would say isn't right.

I don't just read things, neither did I say it is the same for everyone.

I know someone for whom it is an issue and having a bumper is his solution.

If there is a software update in the offing that will sort it then he can ditch the bumper.

Apple are happy to let information leak out through various "accidents", such as the phone in the bar. It's the way they've always worked.
