Ampletime, I have reported your post.
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.

I'm with o2 and am nearly a year into my contract (iphone 3g). the boyfriend is able to get a 10% discount on the iphone 4 with orange as he's on a rolling contract whatsit. Plan is for him to have my 3g and I have the 4, so I don't have to pay to buy out my contract with o2. Can I order a micro sim from o2 even though I haven't got the 4 through them? Or could we both port/pac the numbers and swap that way? We both have the same contract, just want to get my number in the 4 and his in the 3g. Sorry if I've confused anyone..I definately am!

That is a shame - it made me smile.

Anyway - caught up with a pal today who had managed to get a new iphone 4 the day it came out. Took him 4 hours but he managed it and he now has his shiny new toy. One of the things he likes is the compass, but he was coming from a 3G as the 3Gs has a compass.

He has a bumper on it which looks nice but he doesn't have it for aesthetic reasons, he has it to avoid loss of signal if he holds the phone in his left hand to make a call.

I do hope Apple sort this out as it is a wee bit embarrassing for them

    For what exactly?????

    For disagreeing with someone?

This is a simple battle of the handbags and it's pretty obvious to me who is being the childish one. Let them sort it out between themselves, why are you getting involved?

That said, I am moderately intrigued as to why you are siding with djrobmac. As a compliance officer I'd expect you to have a pretty balanced view but it's pretty obvious to me who is causing all the trouble so wonder why you see it differently. If you don't want to add to the heat in the thread I'd be intrigued to hear your reasoning via PM.

    Cheers

Yes you can do this but whether you will find stock in an Apple store is another matter.

ah ok for some reason i thought id read the lack of stock just related to the sim free phones - £499 etc ones
    not the contract ones ?

well im not planning on getting it until the end of the month so maybe stock levels may be better by then :j

If you can be bothered just read ample's or NY's posts from the beginning of this whole thread and you'll see who is childish. Oscar has been there from the start so he has much the same understanding as myself. It's become so boring now reading those two slag iPhone 4 off I rarely can be naffed to read this but I do every now and again just for a laugh.

Sadly I missed Ample's response but im sure it was really interesting :rotfl:

Anyone can join in this thread and offer negative or positive comments I couldn't care less (im too busy enjoying my phone) but its just hearing the same BS from Ample, NY and Poppy thinking about it that's lame, really lame, really really really lame.

RE: The class action lawsuits ROFL, this is America we are talking about! The lawsuit was filied before the deadline expired for returning it for a full refund :D So instead of getting all your money back, you file a lawsuit! Only in the good old U S of A

For the record, i'm not an Apple fan boy, I just own an iPhone and this iPhone 4 is the best iPhone to date so i'm loving it!

The iPhone has the best display in the industry!
