They are taking the p*ss. Having you got and sent you VAT receipt? Halifax have received mine but I've heard nothing as yet. Mine was Dec 2005.

That's a load of !!!! just phone them back and say you want the refund or you'll take legal action under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. I bet they'll look at it then :D

  • Hi everybody, I would be grful for some help. I paid up front to EURO1NET.com and received confirmation that I would have b.band and 24/7 free calls in a letter dated 22.08.04. My calls were due to start on 04.09.06. They did and then I got the e.mail from the staff saying the company was no longer trading. The problem now is (a) I paid for 18 mths up front by debit card which was taken, of course how do I get it back? (b) I was out of the country from mid September and 2 days after I left my house sitter reported by text that she could no longer make out going calls but was still getting broadband. B T are still charging me for my landline but can't let me make calls and say I must contact my provider for more info so what do I do? How do I get in touch withEuro1net.com? Please can somebody explain it all to
    me

You can't get in touch. I strongly suggest you check out these fora in particular the page below

  • Hi there. Yesterday afternoon my Euro1net service died (I was one of the "lucky" ones with a euro1net.broadband id who continued working after the .com users were disconnected). Now, although the ADSL link is up, all attempts to get authenticated are getting nowhere. I've tried phoning Euro1net on 0870 224 5406 and get their recorded message, on 0870 803 1935 which is never answered, and also tried the Ramsgate number for Advanced Data Services 01843 580044 - which again is never answered. I've tried e-mailing and get automated response from customerservices@euro1net.com saying the address is no longer operational. So far I've received no response from tscs@euro1net.com. My question is, are there any people out there that are still getting some service from Euro1net?
Hi there, I am still getting broadband and assume I am not getting a bill from anybody else but I am unable to make any outgoing calls. I paid 18mths upfront for BB and 24/7 calls. Just been in touch with Halifax as I paid with my debit card and they have put the problem in the hands of their fraud dept so i just keep going on line. B T have given me an affix number to use to make outgoing calls but I amstill not getting the service I paid e1 for
