Yes well even without all the locking of threads they are doing a poor job. It's the f**king Vodafone Forum - they can use the Fast Response easily enough and there aren't that many posts per day. How on earth do around a dozen mods keep missing customers genuine questions, but catching all the things that they don't want on the forum?

Data dealings with Vodafone? Watchdog want to hear from YOU

Vodafone are very much the Bitterwallet turd that won’t flush – turn your back for a second, and here they are again. This time, we’re asking for your help if you were caught in up the debacle regarding their “unlimited” data tariffs and subsequent capping, following an email from avid Bitterwallet reader Jo whose plight was highlighted in The Times.
Jo eventually managed to cancel her contract after personally emailing the CEO of Vodafone, using the contact details from our recent article on how to contact your least favourite CEO. Jo says she was made to return her Blackberry handset (most contracts state the handset is outside the remit of the contract) but she was free of a 24 month £35 per-month contract that promised unlimited data but did nothing of the sort.
Jo has since received a call from Watchdog who are interested in following up the story, and that’s where you, the avid reader, comes in. Watchdog are apparently keen to hear from customers about their experiences. Furthermore, because Vodafone not only closed all discussions about the issue on the forums, but then deleted the threads, Watchdog are interested to hear from you if you have any screenshots of older price plans, conditions or the many contradicting posts by forum moderators over their position on unlimited data promoises and fair usage.

For the record i'd recommend CC'ing everything to Guy and Vittorio at the addresses given via the link above, thats what i did.

I'd also recommend being a real nuisance on Twitter, you can let people know who are considering vodafone what they are letting themselves in for.

I've got some stuff I'll be happy to send too...

In response to the person asking if anyone had had more than 2 texts, I've had 3 in any one billing month but that seems to be the limit.

No calls from vodafone to discuss my price plan or options...

I already sent a detailed breakdown of the Vodafone situation to Watchdog, if it's in my email sent items i'll resend it, if not then i might just leave it. Hate to admit it but i've almost had enough of all of this.

I've definitely had enough lol, now that my new plan has been sorted (and hopefully no more bodge-ups), I'm hoping to just count down the days until I can leave VF (331 left) :p. I had already emailed watchdog last month anyway - will see if they get in touch or not.

I've had three... no more after that though no matter what my usage is.

From what vodafone have been saying you'll get a couple of texts again next month and then it will be the following month that they contact you...
