O2 UK "unlimited" web bolt on limit is 200MB

I’m on the old style Simplicity and rang up O2 yesterday to find out what the limit on the “unlimited” web bolt on was. First girl I spoke to didn’t have a clue so I rang back and the bloke I spoke to the 2nd time at first said it was 500Mb. I advised him again that I was on the old style contract, not the new, so he went away to ask someone else and came back saying it was 3Gb although judging by the tone of his voice he didn’t seem 100% convinced himself. I asked him could he point me in the direction of where this was stated in the t&c's but all he kept telling me was to log into my online account and it would tell me how much data I'd been using. I kept telling him this wasn't what I was looking for but he didn't understand so I ended the call.

I’d never had a warning until about six months ago when I began listening to internet radio for a few hours each day in work on my phone. I was probably listening to it for a month or two before I got a warning text which was followed by a letter. I soon cut down and went back to listening to pre downloaded MP3’s again.

There’s obviously a trigger point somewhere for excessive use but whether that’s defined by a set amount of data that has to be exceeded or just a case of an individual user hogging a higher than normal percentage of data than fellow users from the local transmitter nobody seems to know.
