    My son who lives in London pays £560 per month for a shared flat plus £80.00 per month council tax and £90.00per month for his Oyster card. And he earns less than £22000 per year. He should think himself very lucky.

    Your Brother wants to wake up & live in the real world £50 is a bargin !!! I wish i could live somewhere for that money, If he isnt happy to contribute then he should find somewhere else to live nobody can live rent free anywhere & to be honnest he shouldnt be so selfish. He is earning good money so why should he be so greedy to keep it all for himself with no thought for his family especially his mother who is the one looking after him, He sounds rather ungrateful & should just be asked to leave that will be the biggest wake up call for him - Goodluck
