That is completely different - this is basically O2 paying you the cashback but through a middle-man.

Whoever you spoke to at trading standards was wrong - O2 wouldn't be liable whatsoever in your case.

Just a word of warning for anyone who goes abroad a lot and is taking out a new o2 Contract to get the cashback..

O2 changed their Terms and Conditions in February and part of the change was that text messages sent from abroad are no longer taken out of the free allowance. They are all now chargeble.

They told me that does not affect existing rolling monthly Simm only Contracts unless you upgrade / downgrade or take out a new contract.

They have sneaked that and other changes in like when they stopped the free calls to 0845 numbers.

i applied for the £25 p/m offer on 30/03/10 around 11.00pm as soon as the email newsletter came through (was thinking about it since the Quidco offer). O2 have confirmed today (01/04/10) that i have been accepted (why they took 2 days i don't know, i took another contract with them a few weeks ago and that was immediate).

will i still get the £200 cashback as i know the offer expired midnight 31/03/10 but was that for connections or applications as i did apply a day before that and it's not my fault O2 took 2 days to confirm.

HI I TOOK OFFER IN AT 5PM AND RECIVED EMAIL 11AM 2 DAY. MY GUESS IS WILL TAKE MONTHS, JUST STAY ON TOP AND PRESS THEM, THERS A PROCEDURE , EASY TO FOLLOW, ANY HELP NEEDED. PLEASE INFORM OF YOUR PROGRESS ,,GOOD LUCK. GOOD DEAL:money::money::money:

i also ordered an 02 simplicity on the 29th March but recieved this email

Has anyone had their cashback tracked yet? Mine still says no transactions have been made. It says upto 7days but I can't help checking

I took out the last deal that was done via Topcashback (£100 cashback on the Simplicity 12 month £20 O2 tariff with free web bolt on) and was paid out within six weeks. As has been noticed by others, the amount that tracks initially is lower than you finally get paid. Nothing to worry about.

I think what is concerning a few posters is the fact that it hasn't even tracked yet.
I placed 2 orders over 7days ago sims have arrived today but not yet tracking on Quidco:(

Mine is not showing up at all. Would feel happier if it was recognised as an 02 purchase. DH bought one too and I am starting to panic a little bit. A lot of people say theirs has tracked within 2 days. Mine was with TopCashBack.
