I ordered £25 simplicity on quidco deal and tracked fine , but then issue was told them pac code before the sim arrived and wasnt despatched and as an issue the computer cancelled order , so they reordered sim to come out.
Will this affect my quidco money as was the main reason for signing up?0 -
I just rang o2 on 2303 and choose the leaving o2 options, I'm currently on the Iphone simplicity 30 contract and they told me just to go ahead and order the new deal they will port my number internally once i get the new sim.
All i'll have to pay is what ever usage i've used in that month.
Seems good to me as i'll prob get £300 for my iphone 3gs 32gb that added to the £200 cash back due in a few weeks will set me up to buy the new iphone coming in june on payg with a great £25 for 12months deal.
Just to be sure i'd check with o2 yourself but they said there was no problem as far as they were concerned0 -
how long would it take to the get the cashback? do you have to wait til the end of the contract? i've never signed up to that site....and bad experience with my last mobile cashback
I currently pay £15 for my o2 sim only deal....but halving that would be pretty sweet0 -
Hi
Can you for the deal if your were previously o2 pay monthly customer and now currently an O2 PAYG customer?
Meaning not on 1 month simplicity plan, this way can you get the deal and get £200 cashback?
Thanks0 -

Just spoken to o2 and they also suggested that after buying the simpliity contract, I just need to call customer services and they will transfer over the phone number from my existing contract.
The only thing that worries me is that it states new customers only on topcashback0 -
Afternoon all,
after much deliberation i signed up to the O2 simplicityiphone25 deal via topcashback.
Had an online chat with a staff member who would not commit to the cashback deal of £200,he said that he could not comment on 3rd party offers & that O2 don't commit to these things routinely. I asked if he could find out for me- seek further assistance etc on the issue- response was this[.] a full stop! Then termination of conversation.
My situation is- Himself bought me an iphone from the Apple store, never had a contract, been with Virgin for yonks, good coverage, own antique fone, had a good pay monthly deal 15£ 500min unlt txts, but have to get this new fone in use.
I will keep you posted, thanks for the info.

A word of warning; I have found Topcashback to be generally pretty useless if merchant doesn't pay up - even when it it obvious they are doing it as a general rule with other members too. Should O2 refuse to pay - and you only find that out when it's too late, whether it tracked or not - you will get NO cashback. You have to decide if the potential gain against the risk is worth the plunge - and also whether you will be happy should you end up on a contract for 12 months without the £200.0

WoW! It's amazing how much different info they give. I just spoke to O2 and apparently they can't port numbers from O2 to O2 and a PUK code is only to change to different networks... The girl I spoke to sounded particularly dumb so I not 100% convinced.
Anyone have any more info?0 -
just read on o2's website that they can just transfer the number to a new account, which goes along with what I was told. Cant find the link now though!
AS I say, my concern is that it says new customers only. I am thinking of signing up in my wifes name (she is with Orange). The only issue then will be, will o2 get funny about moving the number from an account registered in one name, to another!0 -
