I cba with this anymore, I'm just gonna cancel with O2 since no sim has arrived, no tracking has occured, apart from a bill.
Rather just get a normal contract tbh.
Sticking to Quidco in the future, the £5 fee is worth it.0 -
Has anybody actually received confirmation that their £200 cashback as promoted by TopCashBack via O2?
I have a good deal already and although the £200 would be a marvellous improvement I do not want to lose my good deal for a better deal that never comes through.
I applied before midnight 31stMarch but TopCashBack say I will only get £25 cash back. Fortunately I ca still cancel the 02 contract as it has a 2 week cooling down period.
Any other comments or suggestions.
Cheers,

PLEASE READ THE TCB WEBSITE !!!!
IT clearly states...IT WILL TRACK AT £25 but WILL RISE TO £200 nearer the payout date.
I've just cancelled as something is not right here. NO ONE seems to be receiving their SIM for at least 1 week. Yet being billed straight away. There is deffo something going on....Like 02 making a wad off everyone for a product we are not using as don't have it in our possession yet !!!! then doing some sort of deal with TCB for referring US to 02... Therefore basically WE are all paying for our own cashback. Just my opinion...but no one seems to be getting their SIM cards until at least a week or 2 later !!!!0 -
I have read it..
And it as you say 'IT clearly states...' I would have seen it.
Frankly nothing is clearly stated. And if a 'clear' statement contradicts other information it ain't so clear smart Alec..0 -
Trust me it was there for everyone to read...stating that originally it will track at £25 and will be uplifted to the full £200 nearer the pay out time.
By the way pal...my name isn't Alec...if you are that thick you can't read their website then thats your problem. :L0 -
since many of us are in the same boat (charged by O2 from order date, no SIM yet received and no cashback tracked at TCB) do we, as a group, have a claim against TCB or O2? Maybe MSE should talk about this one as they are the ones who initially promoted it.
many people are having to cancel the contracts soon because TCB cannot promise a cashback, though we all meet the criteria (new contract completed online). This is a lot of hassle for all involved. TCB seem to be asking people to wait 28 days before they will look at it, i really don't understand why they need to make us wait 28 days and more. It is too much of a risk because we cannot then cancel with O2.0 -
Our post has just been and surprise surprise, no sign of our SIM cards yet.0

just joined especially to answer this...
I phoned O2 on Saturday and they told me to just go into an O2 shop, explain the situation and request a Free Sim Card, then phone up the customer service number, choose the option about tracking a pay monthly order, and explain the situation (yes, again), they will ask you for the serial number on the back of the Sim, and will associate it with your simplicity contract also request a change to your bill start date so your not charged for the days when you were waiting,

You have 14 days to cancel once the sim car arrives not from when you placed the order, you will get refunded for any days you havent had the card with one simple phone call.
The sim cards take a little while to turn up, mine was ordered on the 26th March and arrived on 6th April. Ten days were refunded to me within about 60 seconds on the phone.
People seriously need to chill out over this offer! Those that have cancelled before the card has even arrived have all shot themselves in the foot LMAO!!
P.S both quidco and TCB both CLEARLY stated it will track at £25 and validate at £200Hardcore moneysaver0 -
Mine has not tracked in 8 days. The SIM has not arrived yet (although I have been billed). Topcashback are telling me its a "little frustrating" and I will "have to wait. The fact is that I am going to cancel my contract under the "14 day rule" which is a shame because eveyone loses out (O2 loses a customer, TCB loses its commission and a customer and I lose a great deal).
TCB cannot help for 28 days, even when I pressed them. This will then be too late if it does not track and get paid. I will end up paying £25 per month for 12 months insted of £8.33 per month withthe cashback.
It makes no sense to take the risk but TCB cannot or will not help us out here. There are so many people with the same issue that TCB should be doing more.
TopCashBack - You should be ashamed of the way this is being dealt with (or not as is blatently obvious).
Using words and phrases like "will be dealt with favourably" and "a little frustrating" is all B**l sh*t and offers no protection for anyone. you are expecting folks to have faith. I think not!!!
I recommend everyone who has not tracked after 13 days cancels their contract and lets everyone know why.
rant over :-)
