Has anyone got any suggestions as to somewhere cheap to stay (without being grotty) in the Orlando area. We have a 3 year old who loves to swim so a pool is a must.
As posted above we will be staying at Disney for 3 or 4 nights so that leaves another 10 or 11 nights accommodation to find!0 -
Does anyone have an idea how much it would cost in a taxi from sanford airport to a hotel on international drive???0

I stayed at Comfort Inn on I-Drive (beside TGI Fridays/Walmart) just over a month ago and the taxi from airport (airport taxi firm) was $110.
Total rip off, used a taxi company a couple times when there & asked how much from I-Drive to Sanford and quoted $75, so took this option for return flight.
If you can, book a taxi before you go, I think I have some numbers somewhere if you are stuck.0 -
You can also book a private hire car (for want of a better word) online before you leave and they will include a supermarket stop for half an hour to allow you to pick up groceries, water, juice etc.
I looked at websites a while ago through a thread on https://www.disboards.com but I'm sorry I can't find it now, however check out the disboards for loads of helpful information.0 -

Have you thought about an Illuminations Cruise at Epcot for the fireworks or Wishes Cruise to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
We did the Illuminations Cruise last year, joining up with 2 other families from the US and had a brilliant night.
Check out the https://www.disboards.com for inspiration and lots of ideas.0 -
We're looking a booking a holiday to Florida. We've flown with Virgin in the past, but I'm quite drawn to the First Choice Premier class. Is it worth paying extra to upgrade with FC?0
