Unfortunately TCP have stopped playing the game, and it doesnt look as though we are going to get a full set of letters....My last correspondence was around the 3rd week in November, giving me 7 days to pay up..........or else.............Nothing else has happened, so I guess theyve just cut their losses and tried some one else.......

What you mean they didn't send the boys around, or take you to court ? ;) just goes to show that these parasites are full of the threats but never actually do anything.

  • I've had my first phone call from Roxbrugh today (having ignored three letters from them and Graham White). Having refused to confirm my address with the chap he got all cocky asking me if I thought I knew more than him when it came to the Data Protection Act.
I said "from what I've read on the internet about your company, I don't doubt that I do." ... he hung up!

Good on you with your response!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi everyone, i parked in Leighton Buzzard a few months ago and didnt get a ticket and therefore i received a 'parking charge notice', I read online that these notices are unenforceable and to just ignore. Which i have done. I then received a letter from Meteor asking me to pay or appeal, which i ignored. i have now received a letter from GPB Solicitors who have bumped the cost up by a couple of hundred pounds and are threatening legal action and telling me id get a judgement etc etc. The wording in their letter is 'Meteor Parking may instruct us to take legal action in the county court'

Can anyone tell me if i should reply to this or just ignore and if i should reply could you give me some advice on what to say?

They are apparently acting for Roxburghe.

    Many thanks,

    Sarah

Ignore them, unless they issue a letter before claim in Meteors name as they cannot act for Roxburghe in this matter. If you require further assistance please create your own thread below - thanks

  • Hi all,

    You all sound very experienced!
I've just received a parking charge notice from NPE having parked at an Estate Agents on Newmarket Rd in Norwich.
I've been reading all the posts on this forum. Has ANYBODY who has ignored a parking charge from NPE received any genuine demands for recovery of the money? Is it worth me writing a letter of appeal or shall I just ignore it?

    Law abiding and worried
