Without going into any details about my individual issue, there are numerous posts which refer back to this one for Newbies, advising on using the template in post #1 to 'appeal'.
I have tried this but am faced with
"The field Reason for Appeal must be a string with a maximum length of 3000"
Just thought I'd point out that to use this template, you won't be able to appeal online (with ParkingEye anyway).
I did see a mention of a shortened template, but it referred back to post #1

Please can someone advise. I got a parking fine at Gallagher Retail Park in Dundee in Feb on the hire car I had for a short visit to Scotland. I am Irish. I was unaware that I needed to display a parking ticket (first 2 hours free) whilst parked at this retail park and when I came back to the car (in under 2 h) I recieved a ticket for £60.
I applead it on their online system and I was told I'd hear back within 30 days confirming my appeal. I did not hear back about my appeal but recieved a letter demanding payment in the post. I recieved a second letter this week for £160 threatening court action.
Can they chase me down in Ireland for this money? Should I back down and pay before the fine increases?
Many thanks UKPClover0 -

Back in Feb 2012 I was presented with a Parking Charge Notice from Excel Parking Services for staying over the limit (that was not obviously displayed in the car park), and as per the advice at the time on various threads ignored it, the letters from Excel, Roxburghe and from Graham White finally stopped in July 2012. Today, I recived a letter from Rossendales (not previously involved) referring to the outstanding amount of £100 which they would "very generously" reduce to £30 if paid immediately. My question is, as the Parking Charge Notice was issued pre the 2013 changes can I still continue to ignore it, or do I now have to go down the post 2013 route?0

The very first link in post 4 should do it. POFA 2012 is not retrospective, so everything before then is a phishing expedition.0

Dear Friends
Please help about this parking ticket charge:
On 23 Oct 2014, i have issued a parking fine, the time when i went to pay for parkig ticket the machine was out of service. I took pictures of the machine.
And when i came back after 30mns, saw a parking fine on my wind screen. I have written to newham council requesting to cancel the parking fee, but they have refused.
Now they have sent me Notice to Owner. Please friends help me how to come out of this situation. As its not my fault if the ticket machine is out of order.
I am unable to tick which column on the notice to owner as there no option for machine out of service. Please help
Thank you in advance.
