My wife received a G24 £60 Parking Charge notice dated 15th June 2011.
I wrote to them on 18th June stating that the charge was disputed and asking for additional information to be provided within 14 days before I could consider the matter.
It is now 25th July and we have heard nothing more. I think I may have saved them some postage and certainly saved us the worry and stress caused by ignoring them! :rotfl:0 -
I got a ticket from Euro car parks about 5 months ago and unfortunately appealled. But, after seeing all the fabulous advice on here, l've since ignored everything and not paid. l'm on my 2nd letter from Control Account. Still ignoring. BUT, 10 mins ago they phoned me! l missed the call fortunately, but how did they get my number? Do l still continue to ignore?0

I recently recieved a PCN from a Euro car park however the details of the issuing PCN do not seem to be on this forum so I was wondering if any one else has had a similar issue.
As ECP are now policing sainsbury's car parks as a bonus to staff ECP are giving passes that can be used. The staff in sainsbury's were told that they could use the pass in ANY euro car park. This appears to be not the case. I parked in a car park one day with this pass - no ticket. The next day a £70 PCN!
I know other people that have used these passes other towns, and the same town and have not recieved PCN. In my rage i rang up and was told rudely that others must have just "got lucky". but was told to appeal and she assured me it would be dropped! So i did - mistake I now realise and of course I have recieved the letter saying it was unsuccessful.
I am now going to ignore but I was wondering has anyone else been told that they can use these passes?0 -

You made me laugh so much! A 'bonus to staff', a piece of paper from a scammer that pretends to get them off scam fake PCNs. So lovely Sainsburys are 'kind' enough to let their staff off their fake fines!! And sadly you seem to have all believed it!!:rotfl:

Hi
I've read the advice, which in the main seems to be to ignore these private parking tickets.
However, having a genuine reason for appeal, it goes against the grain to do nothing.
I received a ticket this week. Our car is registered to me, but my husband was the driver, I was at work. At this particular car park there are 2 ticket machines. He tried to get a ticket from both, but both machines would not accept the money - it kept coming back out. Not realising that the car park is enforced through cameras taking footage as you enter and leave, he left a note in the car (for any inspector) to read to explain. He also saw another driver having similar problems.
Having read all the threads I doubt whether the company would even take any steps to investgate the appeel. But to ignore doesn't seem right. In the very unlikely event that they took us to Court, it would not look good to say we just ignored it - if we did have a genuine reason for appeal.
I'm thinking of writing to say I was not the driver, that I've spoken to the driver who tells me both machnes were not working and leave it at that. I would not provide the driver's details and not give any further information other than details about what the 2 machines did (didn't do) on the day.
What do others think?

Especially the last one (third one) threating with CountRy Court
or the second one where the client reference suddenly become Council reference...0 -

It's interesting that in one of the letters they say they are a "company of Bailiffs". That may well be so, but in this case they are acting as powerless debt collectors. Some people might think they are trying to muddy the distinction between bailiffs and debt collectors so as to frighten potential victims into paying up.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
