PPC Letter Chains & Court Papers (discussion & comments)

Hi, I don't have a scan facility but my husband has recieved several demanding letters from OPC which he has always ignored but he has now recieved a county court letter from Northampton County Court for the amount of £300 + £25 court costs which is for 3 parking tickets. I haven't read or heard of anyone recieving a genuine court letter so any advice on my next move would be much appreciated.

Are you sure it's real ? Telephone the court to ensure they are real papers, if they are you will need some advice from https://www.pepipoo.com , they will help you with the case, create your thread after joining and reading the FAQs , best of luck

I have had a letter today from Daniels Silverman informing me that a commercial investigator will call at my home on Sat 5th March 2011 to

"discuss the pending legal case against you".

Has anyone else received anything like this? I'm sure it is just another bully boy tactic.

When Dennis Silverman turns up, or more accurately if he turns up, tell him sling his hook, he is just lousy debt collector with no powers at all , just laugh in his face and tell him see you in court if he dares, he won't dare at all !

Daniels Silverman letters have been mentioned twice already in the past few days, you are the third. And yes it's just another bully boy tactic.

Have a read of the most recent threads on page one and two of the whole board and you should find the others who have had your letter, it was this week:

And it would be VERY helpful if someone who gets this letter-chain can collect them all and post them up in a reply here - if unsure how then pm Crabman for help or to ask him to double-check you've removed all ID details before showing them.

I'm fairly confident no one will turn up at my door. If they do I am more than ready for them.

I have ignored every single letter I have ever had. They have no idea if I even live at the address my car is registered to. I can't see them employing people to go all over the country "investigating" and "discussing" legal action. Why not just take me to court and have done with it. I'm more than happy to go to court. I feel like writing and telling them but I won't.

Looks like Daniels Silverman have been handed a load of pups! Don't worry about them they operate out of a box room in a storage facility, local to me. They probably could not afford the petrol to come to you!

I somehow doubt you will have the satisfaction of giving them a Glasgow kiss!!:p I can agree with your second part of their description but the first?
