  • Hi
New to this site and its great to see so many likeminded people sharing info regarding these modern day highwaymen. I am presently on letter 7 from CP Plus. Letters 6 and 7 were both final reminders!!! but all the letters, sent over a period of 2 months have exactly the same date on them- lazy, lazy!! They are clearly just spitting out templates. How these companies can describe themselves as "Professional" is beyond me. Anyway its great to see so many people fighting these robbers and will post when I receive my final final final letter!

I love the paragraph at the bottom of the Roxburghe letter. Feeling the pinch are they.
  • I to have received a Parking Charge Notice from ParkingEye in Birmingham.
The difference is the Car Park did state you could only park for two hours and I paid to do so. Unfortunately my meeting ran over so I arrived back 1 hour late. I was expecting a Parking ticket on the windsceen and was relieved when there wasn`t one. However there were two guys walking around the car park in yellow jeckets with "Parking enforcement" written on them. Again there was no parking ticket on the car. Should I pay??
    panicking............

You could please start your own thread over your query? This one is here to list the various letters and paperwork received from private parking companies. Thanks!

A poster on CAG has received this very dubious letter from Parking Control Services responding to an appeal by the OP:-

In relation to the above matter we acknowledge receipt of your appeal letter and the contents have been noted

There are warning signs situated throughout xxxxx College which state; Warning , Pay Display Car park, failure to comply will result in the vehicle being issued with a Parking Charge Notice without any notice given

As the vehicle was not displaying a valid pay and display ticket or permit (having checked photographs of when the vehicle was issued a pcn) as clearly stated on the warning signs, the vehicle was issued with a PCN

The responsibility to observe and obey parking restrictions is yours. We require full payment within the time frame set out on the reverse of your parking charge notice. If payment is not received we may clamp and or remove your vehicle from the owner's home address without notice

I have enclosed a photo of the main signage.

    Yours sincerely

    Appeals Dept

Note the part about clamping at home. Highly illegal.

I have recieved a few letters from CCS after I parked in a free (retail park) car park and overstayed my welcome. So far I have ignored them but during the last few weeks they have started to ring me, how did they get my number?

Its getting quite annoying now, so what do I do now?

I have read the laws on private parking companies and it seems scandalous, but am I in the wrong ignoring them or do I simply pay up?

Having also read thru this forum it seems these companies give bully boy tactics and just give up chasing for money.

Hope someone out there can help in where I stand.

    many thanks

    Hi

I have been issued a number of tickets by OPC and have ignored them. They issue them daily outside my falt- which has no double yellow line.
But today I got a court lettr for £900 and it has a stamp from the court and a claim number- what do I do next?

    very stressed!

Estimator, you need to go to https://www.pepipoo.com for help with this, just register read the FAQs and post up a new thread in the parking section, if you can scan in your court letter minus your details and the case number etc, and then host it on tinypic/photobucket you can place the link in the thread.

Your post will be broken away from this one soon.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
