I have recieved a Premier Parking invoice (January for a December parking invoice) and now 3 letters from Debt recovery all within a quick succession of each other (dating from mid March to this morning. These 3 letters are as shown at the beginning of the forum.

I know the general advice is to ignore but this is my fathers car and I was driving and he is very uncomfortable. The agency have been informed that he was not driving and he isn't at liberty to disclose who was but the letters are still coming. Are they any recorded court cases recently and what would be the cost if it came to this?

    Many thanks

Just continue to ignore them, if they come back to you with signed court papers you have nothing to worry about

And to happy lady this isn't a thread to ask questions, sorry! Do start your own thread if still worried after watching the Watchdog clip on Crabman's other sticky 'Please Read Before posting'.

Show the Watchdog clip to your Dad, a fake PCN and the debt collector threatograms are NOTHING to worry about, no Court case will happen and if he pays he is a mug IMHO. Sorry! But this generic scam is just like a Nigerian phishing email series - and he wouldn't fall for that would he?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Rec'd this yesterday. In the past i have paid these things! They have voice recognition software when you pay by phone that has caused me problems - and got me tickets! So despite i pay them on the day, they send me a ticket!

This arrived yesterday, its similar to your example but you may want to update it? I am assuming railway station car parks are the same as all the others?

If they made the charge reasonable I would consider paying it, but now its £75 they have no chance.

Oooh it makes me want to scream when I read posters have actually paid these people! Very rarely, tickets on railway land are legitimate penalties but not those issued by NCP; you can tell from the back where I assume it DOESN'T say 'if you don't pay it will have to go to Magistrates Court' (a real Railway Bylaws ticket cannot be appealed and can only be followed through in Mags Court).

But thanks for posting the link, please can you pm Crabman in due course with any more letters which are different from the NCP letter-chain we already have? Thanks.

NCP should have added another option 'Ignore this PCCN'! :D

I see that NCP appear to have a new weapon in their armoury, namely a crystal ball. That's the only explanation for them saying "we understand you to be the driver". They have no other way of making that presumption.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Also its through a PO Box number, didn't Watchdog say that was against the rules the other day ?
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
