Thanks Coupon-mad, that does help. I have over the course of today had browse through the stickies and other threads, I just couldn't find another ticket that looked quite like mine. I've uploaded for information, and also if you wish to use it for future reference.

Please start your own thread or wait until these posts are moved. This is the wrong thread to ask random questions, it's an information sticky thread about fake PCNs and letters. Not a case study or query thread, please don't reply here (sorry to be bossy but this thread is important to keep on topic).
But nothing will have happened because you can see the DRP letter-chain in the first post of this info sticky thread you posted on. That tells you what happens. Some letters. More letters. Then nowt.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As it doesn't seem to be included, I'll start one for Meteor Parking with the initial PCN. They operate in some railway station car parks.

BTW: That is it. The back is blank
As the registered keeper I await the rest of the letters with bated breathThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi folks,
This is my first post here. I have today (12.01.11) received a 2nd class letter from DRPL, asking me for £148.99, because I didn't pull a free ticket out of a free machine (free for two hours and my car was there for one hour and fifteen minutes). The letter is quite scary but I feel like I'm being bullied and if I collapse and pay this money, I will hate my guts and have no self-respect. I really hope it doesn't get ugly and go to court and get all CCJ-esque but this feels wrong and I don't want to give them my money.

Let me get this straight:
Parking is free for 2 hours?
You stayed for only 1 hour 15 mins?
The PPC now feel entitled to £148.99? :rotfl:0 -
Help!
I now have two of these things! The first is from MET for parking at Macdonalds in October and I have had 3 letters and now one from Debt Recovery Plus claiming that if I don't pay up tehy will commence legal action with ccj's, bailiffs etc
The second is from Parking eye who control an out of town retail park and due to choosing furniture and carpets I overstayed, not that I was aware of a time limit. I have had 3 letters from them. In this instance they gave me the option of appeal and so have written and advised them of why I was so long and how aggrieved I feel and am awaiting a response
Am I doing the right thing ignoring them?0 -
There is no right of appeal, that's just their way of making the fake PCN seem real and also getting the driver to write in. The answer will arrive soon that 'your appeal has been unsuccessful'.
Yes you just ignore all the letters. Writing was a waste of your time.
Nothing will happen, neither MET nor Parking Eye ever do Court. Not EVER. MET at McDonalds were the famous company featured in the paper aeroplane episode of Watchdog in May2010 (linked on Crabman's other sticky 'Read this before posting' which is at the top of this board).
P.S. BTW don't be surprised if your post gets moved, you put it on an irrelevant thread which is ONLY for new letter examples, it's not a discussion or new case thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Our experience of the expected time line for correspondence...the dates are approximate for their letters not when we got them...
Start
Ticket Mid October - Central Ticketing - £65
Next
Roxburghe Early December - £147 "we have been instructed...notice to registered keeper.." etc.
Note no letter from CT!
Next
Roxburghe just before Xmas - £147 "we will pursue this matter to conclusion.. Graham White..Potential legal action" etc
Next
Graham White just before New Year - £207.25 "intended legal action..County Court...could..may...baliffs... 7 days...." etc
In fact because of the weather the last two appeared within days of each other in the New Year!
No phone calls yet.....0
