I suggest any correspondence from CPS midlands you simply reply with a message along the lines of "Seeig as you cannot even form your own company but instead stole half the contracts from an exsisting company (name Car Park Solutions) that you cease and desist.
Why on earth would they need to contact the PPC ? We know that the letters and invoice should be ignored !
So there are no ethics in the PPC world , what a total shocker, never would have guessed thatcrying shame !
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
I dont know whether you have received these the latest Excel PCN notice that I have received. Sent to me a month after the 'alleged offence', I have had no ticket prior to prove this, I have a disabled parking badge. Iceland in Eastwood dont want to know anything about their disabled customers getting harrassed by these people who monitor their car park!
Unfrotunately I have already emailed them before I stumbled onto your site and joined! Can you give me advice and do you think I will be liable for saying this with my address at the top:
I would like proof of your video footage, as it looks like you have caught my car with the lights on, and therefore, the car was actually being driven and not parked (your dark photographic evidence supplied cannot possibly see anything displayed in this light) . Why wasnt a notice served on my front window of this alleged offence, which clearly is not shown on your photographic evidence? If this was the case, why has this letter been sent out a month after your alleged proof and in the Christmas post? ? If a notice was given, I would have gone straight into Iceland to show proof, alongside my iceland grocery reciepts. Plus, if you notice, the car would have come from the disabled parking bay and have a valid disabled parking badge prominently displayed on the front of the dash board. I enclose evidence of my badge for you to see this properly in the daylight.
I would like you revoke this accusation at once and with a full apology, because this is not the first time you have tried to charge me around Christmas time for something I have not done. This to me is more like a con trying to get money out of people weeks after allegations and without providing real proof of any offence.
HELP PLEASE : )0 -
Hi shaedee, welcome to MSE
Firstly, you refer to an offence when there has been no offence. The situation is that Excel feel that they are entitled to significant damages based on what they feel is your breach of contract. This is setting aside whether it can be accepted you knowingly entered into a contract in the first place (they would have to prove this). Under contract law they are only entitled to damages/losses they have actually suffered and these must substantiated in a court of law. They can't dream of a random figure and then claim for it.
The way private companies work is they'll send letter after letter (as in the first post) to try and scare people into paying up when they should really take the matter to court for a Judge to decide on.
Yet they seem strangely reluctant to issue court proceedings, with some even going to the trouble of sending forged or imitation court papers (one company has even set up a company called "Court Proceedings Ltd.") to try and scare victims into paying up. :rotfl:
The only way they can force you to pay is by winning a court case against you and we are yet to hear about a single (genuine) court case win. We've heard about the times they have tried court and left having received a proverbial spanking from the Judge. Do note the text in red at the top of the first post.0 -
And please ignore excel and their debt collector from here on in, as mentioned they never do court, and their appeals process is bogus and not independent, so it will be turned down, your best course of action is do nothing with them, but write a very strong letter to iceland head office telling them exactly what you think of them having a company that is connected to an industry that Martin Lewis calls cowboys!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?

Thanking you both for your kind comments, I needed that lift this morning :j, because I didnt get much sleep last night worrying about it  ..... Who can I send Excels new 'notification' to- in order to share with everyone more of their preverications? Mind you it has only changed slightly- is it worth it?...Being a newby, it wont let me do this yet- due to spamming as you all know0

Firstly a big thanks for the help here. Shortly after reading in here that I dont have to pay parking fines from certain private companies I have recieved 2, both of which I ignored (I normally would have paid). No response from them, no chasing, no anything, for the first time in years I am not worrying about their threatening and horrible letters :-)0

Hi,
I have received recently a PCCN from NCP at a railway station car park, it states on it that it is a "Notice of Breach of Rail Byelaws". Is this ok to be ignored or does the Rail Byelaws thing change matters?
Thanks0 -
Rail Byelaws are a different matter and someone with knowledge of same will be along to help, but IIRC they should not be ignored.
That is not to say you will end up having to pay it of course.0 -

NCP don't do real Railway Bylaw tickets, so you can ignore it and their debt collector letters.
Click on the link in my signature first of all to see the whole sub-board, read the 2 sticky thread near the top by Crabman, which will show you the letters in colour that you'll be sent! Also you will find a youtube link to see a Watchdog programme clip which explains things well as regards what to do with bogus PCNs like this.
Finally I did a Google search, plenty of info on pepipoo forums and Consumer Action Group - just click on these links and read some results from each, to put your mind at rest.
Lucylucky you'd be right to take this seriously, if this was a REAL railway bylaw ticket (very rare) but that phrase never appears in the same sentence as the firm name 'NCP'!
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
