Hmm we will have to hope we dont lose this thread! over on CAG the word scam has been filtered out to be replaced by "[problem]"

    This thread isn't going anywhere.

Some sites will buckle upon receipt of a 'legal' threat not dissimilar to the ones featured in the first post... :silenced:
  • Have been following all the advice on the forum about what to do re parking fine notices - I got one on Morrisons car park saying I had parked on a yellow line. I have had all the usual correspondence and then last week received a letter from controlaccountplc requiring me to settle this account within 7 days. I then got a phone call (wasn't expecting that) asking me to settle this account. I said that the "fine" was disputed and they asked me to write to them to this effect. I declined and they then said this would be passed to their legal department. HELP!!!!

You've handled this well so far - you've told them you dispute it so they can resolve the matter by going to court and letting a Judge rule on the matter.

Of course we know that they usually get a good spanking from Judge when they do issue proceedings (i.e. genuine proceedings, not fake court papers). Chances are they'll write a couple more letters to try and scare you into paying up and then when they realise you aren't going to fall for their pathetic scam they'll leave you alone.

The letters & scams thread is not for new queries or replies, only for new letter scans.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

steevie, you're a legend! Thanks, on behalf of all those who will realise it's a scam thanks to your letter uploads. I've added UKPC to the first post. :T

Just one little thing - the link for Roxburghe letter is the same as the Graham White solicitor, so feel free to drop me a PM whenever you are able to get the Roxburghe letter up.

Thanks again for your help

Hi I have just received the new ticket fro UKPC on my car for leaving the site. Do I just ignore it???
  • Hi I'm new to this!! I have just received the "new" UKPC ticket for leaving the site. Do I just ignore it. It looks identical to the list from Crabman. Thanks.
  • Certainly, just file all the rubbish and forget it.

As far as I'm aware UKPC (like all the other PPCs in the list) have not taken any court action despite their many threats to do so :)

I looked at the one where it showed the parking board and I noticed that it didn't have the address nof Civil Enforcement like the one at Nisas, so i'm still wary
