there is a M package for virgin media as i says it on our bill it just says M.
the xl would be amamzing but mosts like 35 a month if not more

Agreed, you don't need a new ISP, you just need to sort out the problem on your existing service.

is it 75% they cut the speed by whilst throttling? This would explain the low speeds. Are you doing these tests whilst others are using the net at your home? Maybe one of you have torrents running or something at the same time? To me it looks as if you are over using your allowance and therefore are being throttled.

The result shown doesn't suggest throttling or the connection being used for something else when the test was done. It suggests a fault.

i mean right now tihs is the only window i have up and that speed thing when it was up.

like i say if i downlaod music or whteverr its like 2 songs every what 4 weeks.

im currently the only one in the house on the internet

That page you linked to seems to suggest 50% throttling for the M package.

For 2mb 'M' yes, but most people are now on 10mb 'M' which is 75%.

Is it possible to try a speed test using a link directly to the router , through a wire , not the wifi and post this ...How far from the wifi is your computer ? .
finally is the connection secure ..Maybe one of your neighbours is using the same connection ?
