    8. The Offer is available to Orange Pay Monthly customers on or connecting to an Eligible Tariff on the following basis with the following minimum term contracts
    • If you’re a new customer connecting to an Eligible Tariff you agree to be subject to an 18 month contract;
    • If you’re an existing customer on or migrating to an Eligible Tariff:
    - In month 10 or more of a 12-month contract, or
    - In month 16 or more of an 18-month contract, or
    - In month 22 or more of a 24-month contract
(each the “Eligible Period”) not requiring a handset upgrade and not migrating to an animal package, you agree to be subject to a 12-month contract.
If you’re an existing customer in the Eligible Period requiring a handset upgrade but not migrating to an animal package, you agree to be subject to an 18-month contract.
If you’re an existing customer in the Eligible Period requiring a handset upgrade and migrating to an animal package, you agree to be subject to a 24-month contract.
    • If you’re an existing customer not in the Eligible Period, you agree to restart your current contract (e.g if currently on a 12-month contract, you will be subject to a further 12-month contract) but will not be eligible for a handset upgrade or migration to an animal package.
    • The above customers are Eligible Customers

So in response to my question, I must sign up another 12 month contract!!

Sounds crap to me then, rather get talktalk and shop around for a new mobile deal come end of term time and get a new phone too.

Sorry if this has been asked already:

I am at the end of my Orange 12M contract. I will get a new 12 month contract from a website like coolnewmobile or e2save with free x months line rental cashback. Would I still be eligible for free broadband or do you have to pay full whack from Orange directly? Also you need a BT phone line and we don't use a landline. What is the cheepest way of getting the required line for broadband? (not interested in making any calls)

    Thanks moneysavers!

^^ That is the question that everyone is waiting for a definate answer on. Unfortunately, it will take seven months from now for the first cash-back to be paid.

Of the people that have gone for the deal --- they all seem to be an existing Wanadoo BB customer and have a current Orange £30 / month contract phone. The deal is great for existing customers... not too sure on new customers though.

For once a deal has come out that benefits existing customers more than new customers..!

This is simply not true! Any cash back deal that you have with a third party supplier is with them and nothing to do with the network provider Orange. The dealer gets commission for signing up new customers and if they want to give some back to customers to induce the customers to go there in the first place, that is nothing to do with Orange. Orange are obviously hoping to gain new customers by offering this deal and I can't understand your doubts over this matter!

So if I've got this right:

In order to buy through a 3rd party website with cashback you sign up for the contract then -

Sign up with Orange for the free broadband as an "existing customer not in last three months of contract". In which case they make you start the contract again (whatever it was ie 12months for 12 months, 18 for 18)

So they risk is - Orange restarting your contract may invalidate your cashback contract with the 3rd party.

It doesn't seem quite as guaranteed as Espresso is saying. I think I would want it in writing from the 3rd party that the cashback would remain valid. You know how slippery those guys are at worming out of deals!

Am I right in thinking this is the only way of starting a new 12 month contract and getting the free BB?

if you follow the link to buymobilephones.net and sign up to thier offer for 18 months on orange canary with 16 months cash back (you currently get over £90 in calls and texts and broad band free) so over the 18 months it will cost you the eqivalent of £3.34 per month!!!! and when you are a customer you can send a link to the website to all your friends and family so they can benefit from the deal and you earn you £20 when they pay thier first bill...so actually you could make money on this offer.........we are in the process of trying this I can't see a downside yet, let me know if anyone else can.

I can't see this offer being around for long so speed is of the essence! JP:beer:

A update on my orange free broadband,The live box evening /weekend phone calls are not free, there is a charge of £6 per month for this service.which i complained about as it is advertised as for free. The best the could do was send me a livebox unabled to get free calls.I was told it is the terms and conditions.I asked for the livebox and then stated that this is free to which i was told of the charge....Be careful!!!
