Which amounts to the same thing! A 2GB limit is pathetic, and if you want to use more, you have to pay for it!
What I am saying is that you are not forced to pay, there are no charges for going over the usage allowance and you are not cut off or charged when you hit 2gb

mobile-bits wrote:1) There are no connection charges and all the equipment you need will be sent to you free of charge.
2) Sounds like a good deal.
3) The free BB offer includes the Orange Broadband Wireless Livebox which gives you wireless internet access as well as a second VoIP line which also gives you free evening and weekend calls.
4) Doesn't look like you have missed anything

Thanks mobile-bits, I guess one needs reassurance sometimes.:rolleyes:0 -

Since Poopscoop linked to the mobiles thread I've spoken to E2save.
They say that restarting your contract to get the orange broadband deal would NOT invalidate cashback.
This is now looking very attractive to me.
Orange contract net of cashback £16
BT £11.50
Broadband £nil
New phone
Total £27.50 per month for 18 months for broadband, mobile and a nice new phone. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
Proud to be a chic shopper

BT is only £11 a month.PF.0

Rang Wannadoo in april trying to change to a cheaper broadband supplier and put through to the rentention people. They promised me a free month in may as they had new packages coming at the end of may which i was promised would be competitive. They Still took there £17.99 out of my account so i rang them today. No new packages but what i did find out was as an exsisting customer paying £17.99 you are entitled to a livebox. You have to phone and demand one as they will try to fob you of saying it will be £20 for the upgrade. It is not as your already a £17.99 user you are entitled to livebox as advertised on there site Orange Broadband packages
After bickering with them i managed to get my month of may refunded and am very disatisfied with there customer relations. There as been no super offers as promised in april just the same ones but called orange Still a rip of so i am changing to a .....good offer
If your a Wannadoo/Orange user and wish to remain so at least get your MONEY WORTH and demand a livebox/wireless router to which your entitled to if not i recomend change to a better/cheaper provider. They seemed full of empty promises!!!Cheap is good free is better.I am not liable for anything i say:beer:0 -
I upgraded from Wanadoo dial-up to broadband (paying £14.99 per month) a couple of months ago. I've only ever had two interruptions to the service in 4 years and both were resolved immediately by their staff, so I was wary of moving internet supplier when I'm very satisfied with the one I've got.
I am already on an Orange contract paying £30 per month for 200 x network minutes + 500 texts. I was fairly happy with my package when I renewed it last year as I've found the service good, I got a free Sony P910i and as a regular cinema goer (in pricey London), Orange Wednesdays saves me lots of dosh.
So, this 'free broadband' offer looked quite good to me - £14.99 per month better off. However, I always like a deal so I phoned Orange as my mobile contract is due for renewal next month. Armed with info about other companies deals, I asked for their offers. They offered some lower price plans, which I turned down because I want free broadband, and several £30 plans with extra minutes.
eg
1. 200 x network mins, 100 landline mins for life, 500 texts
2. 300 x network mins, 150 landline mins for life, 100 texts
As I don't text a great deal I've gone for no. 2. They've also chucked in a Motorola V3i for free. I'm love my P910i, but it's quite heavy so the new phone will be handy when I'm going out and using a small handbag. I wasn't at all pushy for these offers, so others might find they can get better ones if they persist.
My phone contract isn't up for renewal for another month, but they've started this plan immediately and are sending the phone out on Monday. :T They've also sorted out the free broadband.
I'm happy - a free phone, more minutes, starting my new contract a month earlier and £14.99 per month saved.
Obviously this offer won't suit everyone, but if you're on Orange/Wanadoo anyway and are happy with them, it's a no brainer.0 -
gkf wrote:I am with wanadoo broadband at the moment and usually pay Orange about £28 a month so sounds a good deal for me. Anyone know what phone they are offering free for a signup? Would love the Motorola violet one.
If you go to the website for an upgrade on a £30 plan, it will probably be £49.99. However, I phoned up and asked (see my post above) and have got this phone free.0 -
I phoned up last week and was told that my 12 month contract expires at end of July and would be best waiting until then or it would cost me £0

(sorry, hit key too soon) £150 for a new phone and they weren't offering me the motorola one either. I would also have to sign up for 24 months. They don't seem to be consistent with their offers??0
