    Bank: HSBC
    Amount Reclaimed:£700
    Amount Paid: £600

I reached this level of debt due to charges on overdraft extensions to try and keep myself on the black whilst working on a self employed basis.
I couldnt seem to get it down again and looked at reclaiming as a last resort.
It was incredibly easy to follow and do.
I have to say HSBC were also very helpful, great communication and didnt charge for the last 6 years statements. I will continue to bank with them for the forseeable future. Advice to anyone thinking of reclaiming,
    DO IT NOW!!!!!!

  • Bank: Lloyds TSB credit card
    Amount Claimed: £516 + £103.51 interest total £619.51
    Repaid: £714.91 including court costs

I started my claim back in December 2006,
TSB looking into the claim, they tried to fob me off with usual don’t owe anything. I followed all the instructions on Martins web site.
Took them to court via money claim online, TSB defended they claim saying that the claim was not suitably particularised and embarrassing.
Filled in a Allocation questionnaire for the courts and sent all correspondence from the claim. Got a provisional hearing from the court for the 28th April.
Received a letter from TSB solicitors 12th May repaying £714.91 as a gesture of good will and no admittance of liability.
Checked my account today 14th May and the money was there, so I transferred all the money to my new account.

It just shows keep going and don’t let the banks fob you off

Thanks to Martin for a great web site:j :j
  • Bank: RBOS
    Amount claimed : £4200
    Amount won : £4022

I use the templates on this website , got to the last letter before online court letter. Recived one letter back saying that they are sorry I've had problems and they will get back to me asap.
Nothing for another 14 days , went to do the court summons and got my offer letter. Took just over a month...I went straight to the head office in Edinburgh...dont waste your time with your branch.

    Hi, it Really works!
    Barclays Bank, .
    I claimed £535.00
    Received £810.00[/B]
at the beginning of March this year, unsure if they were going to close down my account.
within THE WEEK I received an acknowledgement and that they would investigate and advise within 2 months.
Days before the end of the 2 months I received another letter issuing me with a choice to accept £810.00 in Full and final settlement.
Yipee! 3 days later the money has been transferred to my account. So thank you money savers out there.
