My partner received a cheque today for £2920 which covered everything including all interest.
Seems like forever since I started this ball rolling, but start to finish it was only 4 months.
Was getting a little worried as the court day was next Thursday.
Thanks for all the help.

Amount received - The whole lot! :T
Today was the 28th day after acknowledgement by Nationwide of my online MCOL claim. I checked by bank account, and, low and behold, there was a succession of "corrections" amounting to the whole claim! To say I'm over the moon is an understatement!
I've also been claiming against Barclays in parallel to Nationwide, and today is the 24th day - the amount for them is just over £3000, so lets wait and see after the weekend.
These charges were a joke - I've just returned to the UK with my family after 3 years seconded with my employer in madrid - this meant I had to juggle money around continuously between accounts, as I kept my UK house and mortgage, yet was paid in €'s in Spain. So, I'm back to as it should be, and won't be getting charged again!
Well done to all on this site - the information available is easy to follow, clearly labelled, and in good order, meaning that it is a breeze to take on these institutional robbers!

Bank: Halifax
Claim: £1085.17
Received : £1085.17
Halifax continually charged us sending us overdrawn we went in to see them to ask if they could stagger the charges rather than take another 3 out in one day we were met with total indifference to our predicament and left totally devastated I was in tears. We now know better and claimed the charges with interest and got the lot back. They did try and stall us by replying to our first letter asking for 14 days to look into it and including a glossy brochure explaining it is totally their right to charge such large amounts. I TOTALLY IGNORED THIS LETTER AND I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME. I went straight ahead and sent the second letter telling them I would take them to court. They settled on the 14th day just in time. I'm gunning for Lloyds next.0 -
