    Hi

Having just checked my completed Claim request form online I noticed that it says NORTHAMPTON County Court, but did not give me the option to select a court location. At least, I did not see one anywhere ! (I used Money Claim). Will this automatically change to me nearest one (Ashford,Kent)?

All MCOL claims are initially Northampton, but usually it will be moved to your local court.

    Hi All,
I am really annoyed I just wrote out a big speal and pressed post and it asked me to sign in loosing what I had written

So here goes again! basically I used the BBC website to get my letter for writing to the banks to claim my money back as I didn't know about this great site, and I sent an estimated charges letter as I only had 28 statements from 05-07 and some from 03.

I actually wrote in December for my charges full statements list but they never replied and so I didn't want to waste anymore time.

The bank received the letter on the 21st Feb. and had not replied until yesterday the last day in the 14 day window I had given them!!!

It basically says that they are investigating and will give a full response as soon as they have completed.

So my question was should I take this as unsatisfactory (because it is, VERY) and carry on with filling a court claim or should I wait until they come back to me?

And if I do proceed with the moneyclaim what address do I use for them? My local branch, the service quality team as on this letter pr the head office address?

    Thanks Lizz :D
Hi there i've posted that if you do banking with the HSBC you will automatically get your 6 years bank statements from the on-line banking service. Today my husband phoned them to get registered for on-line banking and was given a user i.d having passed the standard security checks and was able to get his statements straight away without having to request them or pay £10.00, do this 1st thing now b4 10pm or in the morning as you will now longer have to wait.
  • Hello All

I thought my first post should be good news, I followed the advice on this site and ten days after claiming £870 via Money Claim the Alliance & Leicester sent me a cheque for £904.63.

I have been following the posts of others and reading with interest the run around you have been getting.

Maybe for once I have just been lucky.

For those of you still waiting keep your courage and the best of British luck to you all, it is worth the sweet feeling that sometimes the little guy can beat the establishment.

    :j :j :j :j ;);)

It was about 1/2 the amount estimated, why do you ask?

I had no idea either that you had your full 6 years statements on HSBC Online Banking.

Waiting till Mon/Tues to hear from them then will send letter advising SCC.

    Thanks

    NatWest
    Claimed: £294
    Reclaimed: £294

Sent one letter on behalf of my partner, got it all back in one letter.

Wish mine had been this easy with NatWest!

Think amounts <£1000 have been decided by them to immediately return.

No reason not to do it.
    Claiming against Nationwide £2500
    Others to come!
