For RBS I would phone them and find out. They seems to be paying out on the second letter and are helpful on the phone so give it a go. Thats not to say you won't have to send the next letter but worth a try.0

I sent letters to HSBC in Canada Square for my charges back but no reply. So on the 26th Feb i started a claim on MCOL. The claim had started on the 28th Feb and today has been acknowledged and they will have 28 days to reply.
I have just been reading some threads ans it states i should have sent the claim to Leeds.
Im worried now can anyone help?
I sent my claim to my local branch of HSBC, but they just send them onto Canada Square to be dealt with, so you have done the right thing.
They did'nt reply to me either, so I registered my claim on MCOL on 14th Feb. They acknowledged on the 19th Feb. They have until 20th March.
However, I have just received an offer for £2600 through the post.
But, I claimed £3800, so I am just in the process of writing a thankyou, but no thankyou letter.
When I rang the HSBC initially, they are dealing with all requests, but because they have so many, they are taking up to 8 weeks to sort out.
So dont worry, you will hear from them.

Hi guys... I am just filling in the moneyclaim online forms & need to put the address for Barclays.
I recall looking at a long list of addresses for data protection & another list for the correct bank addresses for the court letter.
Can someon tell me where to find that thread? I've searched like mad & can't see it... maybe it's my 8 months pregnant brain! :-) The money sure would come in handy asap!!!
Thanks! :-)Bargain Babe-a-Licious!

Is it "Small Claims court", or "Bristol Magistrates Court", or what?
Thanks,

I left the name of the court blank - the letter reads fine if you just put 'court' without naming a specific one. If you issue online with MCOL it will be Northampton but may be moved more local to you as it proceeds. Suggest you leave the court name out.

I claimed £580 from Nat West about a month ago and they have paid me back the money within 3 weeks of sending the letter.
I can't believe just how easy it was, and would advise anyone to go for it
I had all the statements to hand as the charges were only for 2006.
I've just started claim no. 2 now with HSBC for £2,700 which I don't think is going to be quite so easy. They are stalling.
Anyway thanks to Martin....fab website!!0 -

We hand delivered ours to the branch to make sure that they had received it and then they fax it through to head office0 -
