I've searches the forums and all of the guides for details on this, but I am now about to send the second letter and am uncertain what court should be named in this letter.
Is it "Small Claims court", or "Bristol Magistrates Court", or what?
Thanks,
DebMc0 -
Hi all - i am about to send my 2nd letter to RBS and wondered if it is absolutely necessary to send them another list of charges as they already have my first batch of photcopied statements with the relevent charges highlighted. Didn't want to have to do this again!??
Thanks0 -

Hi,
Instead of photocopying them all just make a list with the date the charge was taken and the amount. That's all I did and they never complained0 -

Just leave it as county court for the second letter...0 -
Hi - thanks for the mega quick response!
Are you with RBS and did they settle up quickly?0 -
I sent off a letter requesting statements for both mine and my husbands seperate credit card accounts. I sent a cheque for £10.00 with the letter but have only received my husbands statements from Tesco and only my statements from Capital One.
Do I have to send £10 for each of the seperate accounts.
Please advise.......0 -

Think you will find that photocopied and highlighted statement will not be good enough and just give the bank another delaying tactic.. they require a list of charges, dates, description of charge, interest (if claiming) and total (charge + interst), use either a spreadsheet or the interest calculator in Martin's article.. Your gonna have to do it at some stage may as well get it over with asap......0 -

This is only a supposition and open for correction, but i would think that the DPA is per person, so if you had two accounts with a bank or cc company then £10 would cover both your accounts but as it is for two people then the £10 only covers one persons account/s....
Hope this makes sense....0 -
