Barclaycard, egg and halifax are stalling in sending my statments. Can i claim on the ones i have to ensure i get the full amount, and later make a further claim, when i recieve the missing statements?
Already filed against Nationwide and sent claim to Lloyds TSB.

Go for a Natwest step account, it's a basic account with a solo card. If i can get one, anyone can. I applied online and had the account number in 3 days!.My Personal challenges for 2012:

Well while you're waiting poking them a bit could be fun. There's nothing to stop you writing and presenting a request for refund of charges that you already have proof of.
Make it clear that any refund you accept at this point is merely part of an intended claim for ALL charges to be made on receipt of the data you have requested. If they dont make a satisfactory offer simply wait for the rest of the data and continue with your claim for the lot.

Bank. HSBC
Amount claimed. £3,700
Amount offered. £3,100
How easy was that! unbelievable, would never have had the courage to do this without Martin and his web site. It only took one letter enclosing statements, within two weeks a letter arrived with an offer I couldn't refuse!!
Am now sat looking at a brand new Panasonic telly which i've bought with some of the money!! So whenever i'm watching it I think here's one in the eye for you HSBC!!!!
Thanks again!!
FANTASTIC!!!!:j0 -

Stick to your time scale not theirs0

:rotfl: Alliance and Leicester
Claimed £2566.16
Won £2566.16
Had to take them to court, which they said they would defend and then they just caved in and sent a cheque for all the money , intrest and court fees.
They will probably try to close my account now, new account opened elsewhere but I will threaten them with the Ombudsman because its time to make them squirm a bit longer.
Follow the guide and dont let them bully you or set thier own time scale.

Bank: First Direct
Amount Reclaimed: 1670 + interest
Amount they paid: 1435
The story: Probably the most profitable 2 hours of my life, going through those old statements. One letter to the bank, an acknowledgement from them after a week, the offer a week later and the money was in my account around 4 days after I responded. Outstanding. Thanks for the email template Martin.0 -
I would normally agree with what Rain says but RBS seem to be settling on the second letter so a phone call on Monday might produce results.
oops just re-read your post when you say you have sent 2 letter you mean one to RBS and one to HSBC so now you need to send your letter before action giving them 7 days or you will take court action.0
