  • Bank: Royal Bank of Scotland
    Claim: £3347
    Setllement: £3348
    Story:

First letter ignored, second letter threatening court action prompted a long winded letter with a full settlment and, bizzarely, £1 more than requested!
Thank you Mr Lewis, my financial incompetence has been resolved.

  • hsbc
    claimed 1533
offered 1320 (1533 WITHIN A FURTHER TWO WEEKS)

my story is that i claimed just over £1500 back from hsbc and got £1320 back.to explain in more detail i sent the letter on the 11th february and when i phoned them one woman on the phone said my charges would not get looked at for two months.i wasnt going to take that so i kept on emailing and emailing hsbc and i finally got an offer today, but i was chewewky and added a letter which asked if they could see it in ntheir heart to refunbd me the extra two hundered, so heres hoping!!!AND THIS IS TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THEY DID AFTER ME SENDING A FURTHER LETTER TELLING THEM I WAS DISGUSTED WITH THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TOOK TO PAY THE ORIGINAL MONEY INTO MY ACCOUNT.

so my advice for anyone dealing with hsbc is TO PESTER THEM AND DONT LET THEM FOB YOU OFF.

I also claimed back from monument £372.

and capital one have just agreed to pay £328

-UPDATE- I RECIEVED ALL THAT I WAS CLAIMING FROM NATWEST WHICH WAS £586.

NEARLY ALL MY CLAIMS SO FAR HAVE TAKEN ONLY ONE LETTER TO RECIEVE WHAT I EXPECT.

only 4 more to go,for littler amopunts between 100-175
