I was wondering, when my claim is over the the bank have paid me what they owe, what happens if I go overdrawn again? Will I have to do this all over again?0

Hopefully, you won't, but if it does happen it will depend on the settlement of the first claim. Some banks issue a notice they will close your account should you attempt to claim further charges. This practice is a bit of a gray area at the moment.0 -
Thanks to Edinburgh Lass and Sunday Morning for help. I have already accepted the goodwill gesture from Lloyds as part payment and told them I will go on with court action to get the rest. I'm very nervous about the whole thing, but will keep going - I don't see why they should get away with trying to cheat people and then making massive profits.0

Hi,
Please can someone help me!
I am very nervous and scared, I am now taking lloyds to court and I have recieved a date for the end of March, what do I have to do now?
Do I have to get a defence together?
Do I actually have to go to court?
What do I have to take?
I can't find any help on this site telling me what to do, I am so nervous I might just drop the charges, not worth all this stress
I would be grateful of any help from anyone, time is running out and I am desperate
Thank you all0 -

I'm a bit (very!) worried....not sure I want to go and stand in court. Can anybody else give me advice or has anyone got this far with a claim from the Abbey?
That is the whole point, they are trying to scare you into dropping your case.
Stick to your guns and they will fold, remember what Martin sais in his video "it is illegal for them to penalise you".

Bank: Royal Bank of Scotland
Amount Reclaimed: £7977.69
Amount they paid: £7247.69
The Story: We sent them Martins templates as instructed and received some very polite but time wasting replies from the bank. We just applied for a court order to be issued (which I don't think the bank would have received, not enough time has elapsed) when a letter dropped onto the doormat making us an offer of £7247.69. We are going to accept as I think it would be greedy to go for more.:beer:0 -
